Out of curiousity, do you remember the price you paid last year for a suite at the Marriot (or the Hilton)? I'm considering going that route, but I think I'm going to have to budget more, haha.

I remember seeing suites in the Sainte Claire, but I can't remember if they were available at the Fanime price or not >.<;;

Definitely excited! I have a countdown going on my iGoogle page. Every time I open the internet window, it reminds me that time is ticking away. 20 days and 6 hours until we (my group here) leave for Fanime~

..I need to get paid...

Make sure to have friend's car checked out, ( will be driving a good eleven hours, don't need anything going wrong along the way)
make sure everyone in my group knows when we are leaveing in the earily thursday mornin.

Haha, yes, check out the car XD If I get my way, we'll be taking the same one *crosses fingers* Early early leaving!

For me, I have to...
-finish working to get money
-pack
-withdraw money
-Get the dolls ready
-Withdraw and divide up the money between me and my sister...
-finish school, subsequent four papers and scholarship nonsense
-A whole bunch of things I can't think of right now lol

14ish hour drive from Arizona, haha. It's not as bad as it sounds when you have good travel buddies and a giant Moogle head in the back seat XD

I didn't know Tata's Paradise was there! *dies*

Oh, there are some people selling BJD clothes in the Artist Alley too. Check out Gravity Doll; their outfits are beyond amazing~ And someone was selling BJD sized jewlery. Those were really cute!

For accessories, Starry Petals was there last year. They had some lovely BJD outfits at fairly reasonable prices, if I remember correctly. They have a webiste: www.starrypetals.com/

As someone else mentioned, Emory is usually there with JunkySpot. If you're looking to buy a dollfie, a good idea would be to check out his website for some prices. Elfgirlkaname posted a link for them. They sells pretty much everything lol.

There was also a girl selling some BJD clothes and even a couple of dolls at the Swap Meet last year. You just have to keep your eyes peeled. Never know where the BJDs will be, haha ^.~

I stayed at the Marriot hotel with three of my friends and had the WORST hotel stay of my life.

Everything was fine until we went to check in. The guy at the counter ran my card through four times, one for each person he said. I thought it was a little wierd and called my mom back home, asking her to check the account balance of my bank account. Rather than taking out the minimum security deposit, they charged us the security deposits for four rooms. I had around $1500 in the account before, and after checking in, had a balance of -$1000. When I went back to the counter, the man said it would go back in after we checked out, not to worry. I thought everything was fine. Later, we realized the seriousness of the situation. My card was a debit card, not a credit card. Our money wouldn't be comeing back in afterwards XD We couldn't pull out any of our spending cash or buy food. It took three days before things got sorted out. Even then, the Marriot never really did much. It was only because I called my bank that anything got done (they gave me a credit until the money got refunded back in). Two days after the convention was over, things got straightened out. The hotel wouldn't really do anything until we threatened to call a lawyer x.x

On another note, the beds were comfy and we never had any problems with room service. Nice staff and such. I never had any problems with the elevators as we usually took the stairs.

It was very stressful though and not any fun at all. I'll stay somewhere else next year.
