Gah! I'm buying my tickets tomorrow but on TIcket master it seems like they're already at balc. row 10 for $36 seats!  :cry: Does anybody know if it's near to being sold out or not?

heh, wouldn't it be nice if ticketmaster could tell you how many seats were left (supremely nice for sporting events).  but i wouldn't wait too long if i were you.  the performing arts center only has 12 rows in the balcony.

man lucky you!  the producer took my picture for me with uematsu at the san francisco show, he's a really awesome dude.  i can only imagine how much he goes through putting on a show, not to mention he's going on a 3 country blitz for the overseas show a few days after this one.  10 days to go baby!

good stuff! haven't played burning crusade yet, and getting a dvd install should make things go a little faster.  14 days is a lot longer than the 10 blizzard is currently offering.  timing is great as well, after finals!

It serves the VTA Light Rail, Amtrak and Caltrain.

thought so! just walk =p.  it's shorter than my walk from 4th street garage to the sharks games.  (exercise and quicker exit)

if amtrak takes you to the san jose diridon caltrain station, then the convention center is only 5-10 minute walk from the station...unless there's an amtrak station somewhere downtown i don't know about...then jokes on me.

don't forget to bring your DS if you have one!  i read from a review of the chicago show that people were chatting on the DS during the intermission, sounds like a good idea.  i'll be bringing mine.

I was thinking that it might be nice if we can have a group to meet up before the concert for dinner? If this is something that people want to do suggest a place. I am thinking to meet uo at the convention center. Does anyone have any restaurant suggestions? Holler. Only 19 more days!

No. MusicFest has been on Saturday for a few years now, and yes, contracts are involved. If you want to blame someone for the scheduling conflict, don't look here.

that would be money!  though i can see why he didn't make every single stop on the dear friends tour.  i'm still goin for the music.  i just want to hear chrono trigger live, that would make my year.

BART currently end at the Fremont station. I believe there are VTA buses that go to that station and go downtown. I don't know which ones though.

I can't wait for BART to go to San Jose. The proposals say that the BART trains would go underground San Jose and have stops at the Civic Center and SJSU. That won't be for a long while though.

haha, that might be difficult.  if you stand on the fremont bart station platform and look south where the line ends, it's kinda hard to envision something connected to that going to san jose  :lol:

Bus 180 takes you downtown.  check www.511.org to see exactly which stop it is, just tell the driver to remind you to get off at the right place, they're generally nice about it.

too bad i bought my tickets before ticketmaster got their game together and put the promo code option on them =/

I purchased a front row ticket but I did not notice an area for promotion codes of any kind besides gift certificate redemption.  Can anyone help me with this?

Update:  It seems like the promotional code was just added today as I can now get tickets with the fanime discount.  Is there a way to retroactively apply the discount without having to buy another ticket and lose my seat?

probably not =(.  ticketmaster is famous for shafting it's customers.  hell the convenience fees for my sharks playoff tickets are ridiculous enough.

I heard that there will be some famous people attending as well as a lot of free giveaways.
