Gaming / Re: Looking for SF4 PSN players

I havent tried SRK.  I tried on GGPO but Lag input kills me.  being a fraction of a second slower is very unmotivating.

I currently play RYU on SF4, Ive been told to stick to learning with one person for now.

I actually might be interested.  I used to live in modesto but moved to elk grove.  cant find anyone here in elk grove that wants to have a small anime gathering.  my work usually brings me to modesto so if the timing is right, you guys can count me in.

I work for an ambulance dispatch comm center. "you call, we haul..."

this sorta reminded me of scrubs... Delivery Guy turned Ambulance driver.
Sounds interesting, any interesting stories?

I think dramatic work stories are always a fun way to pass the time.  :P
Dramatic?  well I cant say many dramatic things happen for my job but Ive had my fair share.
when I do a usual DSL order I have to access a telephone box on the side of the road. when I opened one up, there was a swarm of bee's living in it.  Ive never ran so fast in my life nor have I ever been stung so many times.
Also on another job I had to crawl under a house.  I found a family of possum's living under there in one corner.  When me and momma possum made eye contact, I slowly turned around and crawled back as fast as I can. LOL

Im just curious on what everyone does here to earn their pocket money.

I work as a uverse tech for AT&T.  Basically that means I do installs for telephone, internet and tv.  and we also sometimes re-wire alarms.

someone stole my $250 18-70mm AFs DX lens and my fish eye lens with a few other various lens filters while I was waiting in line to get into the dealers room.  When I reached for my bag, the zipper was slightly opened. Next time, I'll be breaking fingers if I catch someone stealing my stuff... >=(

First off I would like to thank those that made my first anime con very fun.
NIck Zebra, Johny AR and a few others I might have forgot and those not on the forum.
From day 1 til Sunday I had the greatest time evar so thanks again!

Things I disliked about Fanime:

Thiefs - someone stole my $250 18-70mm AFs DX and my fish eye lens'
People who didnt shower
Wannabe Gangsters showin up and actin hard.

The smelly folks I can sorta somewhat understand why most of them stink, but for the guys walkin around with super baggy clothes and givin everyone the stink eye, please dont show up >.>  It just ruins the good mood ppl are havin.
As for the theifs who stole my lens', I hope you rot in hell.  Way to ruin it for me and steal my stuff outta my bag while standin in a packed line to get into the dealers room.

I cant really find a better way to express my thoughts and feelings about Fanime2008.
From Stage Zero to the Masquerade and back, I loved it.  The Cosplayers were funny and looked great in all their costumes.
I took pictures of nice friendly people and I respected the others who didnt want their pictures taken.
The best time I had was the masquerade, it was the icing on the cake!
The skits were so awesome and lots of them made me laugh out loud.
I came alone to Fanime this year with low expectations and many doubts, but I left with lots of friends and felt alot of love from the Fanime community.

so once again, I want to thank everyone I met, the new friends I made and FanimeCon itself......

-Cheers, I am looking forward to Fanime 2k9 even more now
