What is your sleeping schedule gonna look like at fanime? Gonna pull some all nighters? Go to bed early, wake up early? What will it be? :)
If all goes as planned:
1-3AM - 9-10AM
Yes: Rockstars will be a main part of my unbalanced diet.
It's a tradition for me to pull an all-nighter on Sunday night. Hehe...
But usually, I guess.... Sleep at 1-2am and wake up at 7:30. (:
I like to have everything planned out, haha.
I'm still deciding on sleeping schedule. I really like wandering around at night.. so maybe in the early AM's..
Blergh. If I think about.. I 'd be extremely wary.. since I'm booked at the Fairmount..^^;
My sleeping scedule is always a problem at Fanime. I work at a school, so I have to be to work by 8:00 every day. This means I usually go to sleep at 10 pm and wake up at 6 am. That schedule really stinks at Fanime, good stuff is still going on at 10 and not much is going on at 6 am. Every year I promise to break my schedule and stay up late, hasn't happened yet. Here's hopping this year I can stay up late. :D
usually end up going to sleep between 1 and 3, try to wake up before 8. how early I get up sometimes depends on what costume I'm going to be wearing that day - if its something that requires anything complicated to put on or extensive makeup, I like to give myself time to get ready and eat something before I head down to the con, especially on the day I'm running the Bleach gathering.
EDIT: Totaly thought this was on Things in the Universe.
Everyone stays up almost all night, then I'll have to wake up earlier than I normally do... for work at the maid cafe. :(
*Sobs maniacally.*
Sleeping during con? Wtf that happens?
You people and your sleep. I try to sleep as little as possible at the con. I get about 2-3 hours a night at the most. I mostly run on fumes during the day, and booze at night.

You sir are a GOD.
Arrive about 8'ish, leave about 10 or 11ish. Sleep from 12 to 6, sometimes even earlier (say, 11 on some nights).
I like sleep, and haven't seen much need for the later-night attractions.
Quotehaven't seen much need for the later-night attractions.
Thats why you make later-night attractions.

Thanks. It comes from years of hard partying.
Sleep schedule for me will probably go something like this:
Friday: 1-1:30 AM to 6-8:30 AM
Saturday: 1:30-2 AM (Maybe even later) to 6-8:30 AM
Sunday: Probably 1 AM to 6-8 AM
At most conventions I get a couple hours of sleep, but they dont have a 24-hour gaming room.
For Fanime specifically-I will probabaly not sleep at all, at least until my friend locks me in my hotel room again.
wait people sleep at fanime? ;D

I commend you.
After the disaster of 2006, I made sure I actually used my damn room to sleep, and not just as a glorified place to leave all my stuff.
It'll probably be a repeat of last years' setup, which was me hitting the sack sometime around 2-3am, and waking up sometime around 9-10am.
The way I look at sleeping at cons, you can sleep when your dead.
Thursday Morning at 8 or 9 a.m. Until Monday evening when I get home after the Rover's end of con Dinner.
I sleep before and after. In between, I am working. That is all.

i admit, last time i spent a lot of time in the hotel with talu-chan, but very little was sleep.

Maids have to look cute. Not tired and full of soggy dark circles. :(
Im planning to sleep at around 1:00 am all weekend and wake up at about 7:00am.
Usually around 4AM then wake up at 8AM. I would stay up longer but the problem is me being in the East coast atm and the 3 hour time zone difference screws me up. It's like... going to bed at 7AM and waking up at 11AM..-_-;

Same here. I'm used to sleeping about 5 hours a night anyway, so this is not a stretch for me.
Oh man... I get less sleep as the convention goes on.
Friday : 3-4am til 10-11am Saturday.
Saturday: 3-5am til 9:20ish Sunday
Sunday: 5amish til 9ish Monday.
Eesh. x_x That really does sound bad considering I'm one of those people who likes sleeping 8-10 hours normally.
HAHA SLEEP WHAT.
My schedule isn't as bad as some of the people here; I sleep between 1 & 4 AM, and get up between 8 & 10:30 AM, depending on my personal schedule. Which is livable, but that + no food + losing voice etc really takes its toll after a while. (Oddly enough, I actually got more sleep at Fanime 08 then I had gotten all of that May; homework and organizing Fanime for twenty others = getting four hours of sleep x/)
There's a bigger problem with what I'm doing when I'm awake - like, there was this one time when I went out for a meal at 10PM after a masquerade and realized I hadn't eaten anything in more than a day. ::)
Though I still plan on staying up to up to 4 AM for the dance etc, I always try to be as healthy, hydrated and well-rested as I can; I plan to take better care of myself this year! x];;;
Depending on the day/what is going on/how I am feeling I tend to change, but really, I get all my sleep in. I never go to bed past midnight, and that's simply because I'm a morning person, not a night person.
Typically I go to bed later the night of the B&W Ball because I tend to stay up later afterwards. I tend to get up ~7:00 every morning at the con and then hit the con ~8:00 or 8:30, which is fun because the place is practically deserted, even though it really isn't that early.
I think the earliest I ever hit the con was before 8:00 when I decided to get up really early, and as fun as it is to be in at the con with hardly anyone there (certainly not the crowds of later in the day), it gets boring because nothing is ever open or going on.

Yea, I wouldnt reccomend it. By saterday night I was hullcinating and I kept falling asleep asleep in the middle of the chess game on Sunday I couldnt think straight either.
When do I go to bed?
It depends on how good the midnight stuff is. For example, in 2005 I almost finished the whole the hentai marathon (The Sat morning one).
sleep... sleep at FanimeCon? whats that? oh you mean that thing we usually do from 4 AM (sometimes 5 AM) to like 8 AM? yeah ok we do that XD
i dont know if you could call that an allnighter but still. last year i bought some Sobe NoFear energy drinks and TRUST me they came in handy we are usually at the con from 9(an hour IN the hotel give or take to get ready) to like 4 or 5 in the morning. well on occasion we may go back to change cosplay or something... ^-^
I can't enjoy the con if I'm sick to my stomach and falling over from no sleep. So I sleep about.......3-10 each day. Maybe with a small nap in the lull of the day.

I use to do that. I stay there until it finishes me and my friend were last ones to leave the room. I did that in 2005, and 2006. The only time I couldn't do stay much was on saturday night (sunday morning) cause of my gatherings. Since 2007 I couldn't stay up much in Hentai room cause of my girlfriends gatherings and the other gatherings that she wants to check out along with me. So I usually sleep like around 3 or 4 am and get up around 8 or 9 am.
I just sleep whenever something isn't going on (lol that is like never). But is is just sporadic naps and energy drinks. :D Melatonin pills do help though if you are too jazzed to fall asleep for a nap. Put you right to sleep.
Sleep time varies for me. I usually end up getting fatigued though.
Usually, my plan is to arrive at the con and stay up for as along as I can. I know it's unhealthy, but I also usually drink tons of energy drinks to keep me going...I know I know it actually does more damage. I just sleep when I can't see straight or my legs give out. My contact lenses are a pain by 3am.
Naps don't help. I have to get at least a good 5 hours of straight sleep in order for me to function the next day. When nothing interesting is going on I try to stay off my feet as much as possible to save energy. I try to get up the next day by 9am so I won't miss things.
^^ 7am i wake up xD and i'll go to bed around 1-2 am. Then get up again.. So hey i'll have a pretty decent schedule a good 4-5 hours of sleep!
I do take some naps if there nothing going on or I just rest some where for a while.
Some of my friends and I are going to be going to Fanime for the first time this year and are staying at one of their houses about 10-15 minute drive from the convention. I was wondering if people ever sleep at the convention center if only an hour or two of sleep is needed per night. We regularly have all night video game parties at each other's houses and stay up all night at including a 3 day party and where we only got about 30 minutes of sleep the second night. Since driving to and from the convention center plus parking and such seems like a pain, what do you all think we should do? Thanks.

I don't plan to modify my sleep schedule too much. It may be boring but the only time I intend to stay up is if there no morning/afternoon showing of an Asian cinema film I really want to watch.
That's funny. For what I've notice every time someone I know or myself comes up with a sleep schedule it never goes to plan. You can come up with a sleep schedule if you think you can follow it but it's just a waste of time for me. I sleep when my body gives out on me lol.
sleep is for tuesday.

Fanime last year I didn't sleep all to much. At most I got like 7 hours the whole weekend.
Sleep? At Con? Surely you jest!
Oh, who am I kidding? I'll be following around a hyperactive 12-year-old all weekend. I'll be lucky if I'm still conscious after 10pm!
If anything, the only time I need sleep is right before I drive back home
I don't have a schedule. I stay awake until I drop dead asleep onto the halls, or at least until they kick me out. 8D

Schedule all you want, it never goes as plan. I planned on staying at the rave last year for like an hour, ended up staying for 4. Afterward I walked in my room, fell on the floor and when to sleep.
I've learned NEVER EVER SLEEP. It usually happens anyways. What with all the excitement

Well, if you mean sleeping IN the con, then you'll probably get shoo'd away. If you mean in a hotel room... Well, I like them. Even if I was close I'd want one if it was joined. I love just running up and dropping stuff off, showering, napping, etc etc and running down again. They probably wouldn't let you sleep in the car in the parking garage, but you could try? Who would be paying attention really anyhow? My vote : Bring a blanket and nap in the car.
I need to find more things to do super super late/early but I usually passout after the rave (and I usually go every night)
So I will probably go to sleep from 4AM-8AM then do things

When I went last year I saw lots of people sleeping around. A few people were sitting in the halls sleeping, in the early early hours(1-3am). One of the most popular places to rest were the hotels... people just sat in the couches sitting around outside and konked out. People would take advantage of the dark and sleep in the video rooms during night. Friends could just take turns sleeping like watch shifts at a campfire. ..so yeah alot of sleeping in or around the halls.
I like to be out to fanime generally around 7AM
And when I leave depends on a lot of things.
But I generally don't get much sleep, even when I am back at the hotel. XD
Whoever is driving needs to sleep. Even if you're only driving a short distance away, sleep deprivation is not good when you need to be alert on the road. What if the driver falls asleep and crashes?
If you and friends were staying at a hotel, I wouldn't really comment on how much sleep I think you would need because you're not endangering people in a moving vehicle and you are responsible for your actions (but I would probably suggest a minimum of 6 hours every day). And you wouldn't have to worry about parking your car or driving if you had a hotel room to sleep in at any time of the day.
im terrible at falling asleep when excited ;_;
The concept of sleep does not exist at Fanime. XD
I stay up late and then wake up sometime before noon. I need plenty of rest because I intend to go into battle fully charged. I wanna be fully awake when I enjoy the con.

We have been through this. You will do what you will do and we will do what we will do. Whatever threats realized or not will not change our policies, what we do, or how we do it. We have established our policies for the safety of other members and as per the guidelines of the many organizations that we work with. The only thing you will accomplish is make it harder to do our jobs and limit our ability to put on good programming.
Thanks for wanting to come to Fanime. We look forward having you.
well considering I have a room this year I'll probably end up getting a bit more sleep. Sleep? Durring a con? You must be joking
I've been staying up for countless hours on weekends hanging out with friends
I'll probably get tired out by the rave, get some sleep, then go to the game room whenever I do wake up
GAHHHHHHH, I CAN'T WAIT!
Sleep can be regulated, if you plan it well. I've only been to cons that were in my hometown, so I had a nice bed to sleep in every night, and was usually back at the con by noon. I missed out on the morning panels though. And the last con I went to I couldn't participate much cuz I had to be at work at 8pm til 3am. That left about 4 hours of sleep if I wanted to get there by 10am.
This year, I plan to sleep by 3am and get up by 8 or 9am. I need to sleep.
Once I was sleep deprived and I fell asleep while I was driving on the freeway. The funny thing was, I was singing at the top of my lungs....in japanese! And I still fell asleep....or my mouth was still moving and singing while my brain shut down....that was kinda scary.
Another time, I spent the whole week playing a Final Fantasy game, going 18 hours at a time and sleeping 6. No work...go figure.
Rule of thumb: They don't want you.
They want you to dump $50-75-100-more/night into a hotel that you will not use.
The only reason these cons are allowed is because they fill the hotel space.
The only hotel I'm going into if I were to attend is the Crowbar Motel, because I should've put that chair through the front window two years ago at 4 AM Monday.
I have absolutely no schedule for sleep.
I generally just go back to my room when I either get bored or tired.
Wake up whenever I wake up...
I'm staying at the fairmont this year so it's going to be awkward having to walk back to my room at 4am probably.
Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I stayed at the Fairmont in '07, and though a few people look at you funny, you don't pass too many people at 4 am. It's not that bad though. It's a short walk, and the staff there are polite, so really you'll have nothing to worry about.

Pisses me off how fast the mariott and hilton filled up this year.
If I'm thinking of staying up for two days straight I'll just take a dose or two of Oxycodone. It'll keep me both energized and painless!

I'm staying at the Fairmont too. I didn't really want to have to walk back to my room at 3:00 but the way I see....people don't really care. Nobody even questioned it.
Though people might be a little spooked with a crowd of cosplaying zombies(cuz we're sleep deprived) staggering around in the middle of the night.
w00t w00t for fairmont!
Do they have a work out room?
I wanna hit that up every morning, then go swimming, then take a shower, then get breakfast, then back to the con.

Oh yeah, of course xD
Wow, every time I come to this forum it gets bigger and bigger. It's simple! Don't sleep. Your brain can technically last a couple of days without sleep...before part of it start shutting down to make you sleep. XD. But in all seriousness it depends on what you want to do. I barely sleep while I'm there cause I'm always doin somethin.
Yeah, this forum is getting bigger and bigger everytime I come and look xD.
Well I was refreshing at Fanime.com
and I saw the schedule just as it was released.
Party's until 4am, whoop.
I'm gonna see if I can work something out with my overprotective dad, so I can maybe stay until atleast 3am.

Good luck with that. Hopefully you can work somethin out with him.
Unfortunately, I only had round 5 hours average per day of fanime. I wasn't really that exhausted, but I did feel tired. The couch is to blame!
Thursday night: 7hrs
Friday night: 2hrs + 4hr nap
Saturday night: 6hrs
Sunday night: 7hrs
I'm not too tired more than I am sore.
I got about an average of 7 hours of sleep each night.
As was said before me,
I wasn't as much tired as I was sore.
Eesh. My feet huurt.
I went to bed around 3-4AM every day, with the intention of waking up at 9, only to wake up at 6 or 7 instead due to roomates having earlier wake-up times.
went to bed at around 3 and woke up at 10
I had 2 hours of sleep in the 90 hour time period from Thursday!
I planned to be in bed by 5 every night/morning and up by at least 9, but it was in bed at 7 and up at 9.
It was great. My body couldn't keep up with my mind so my feet are killing me today.
I've only been to one convention, but... I got there with my friends on thursday and that night at midnight or so we got in the pre-reg line. Then after we got our badges Friday morning at eight, we went to the room and changed and ate some ramen... then for the rest of the nights we stayed up til six in the morning and slept til nine in the morning. It's a lot easier when you're young, I heard.
It's true, the older I get, the more I have to sleep. Either that or it's because as the older I get, the more work Fanime makes me do year after year....and I gotta crash....
-Steve
I want to base my sleep on what I am going to do the next day. Like gatherings, gaming, and other exciting things to do. Eating is important, but we can't forget to sleep since the last thing I want to do is to pass out where ever I am at. For me, a good 4 to 8 hours is good.
Well, when it's around 7, i'll take a three hour nap until 10 then walk around the con for abit until 2 and go get stuff ready for later that day and get to bed by 3:30am and wake up at 7:30aM for another schedule like this! :)
I noticed this year that passed that I got sleep when I didn't really have anything to do or there wasn't an event that I wanted to go to. That's when I wold break out the power naps. If college has taught me anything that power naps will save you. XD
what is this sleeping thing you speak of?
sleep is for the weak at the con!
no, I'm kidding, a few hours here and there. haha, maybe like three hours I will be fine as long as I pick up like an energy drink that is not Monster or Redbull at the Walgreens
say, what is the best energy drink?
Hopefully that "blood" drink that is coming out will be the best energy drink. It is supposed to have the consistency and nutritional value of blood, without the crappy taste.

hm, well it depends on the individual.
Me it takes me about 2 Sobe NoFears to stay awake. I happen to prefer NoFear, it tastes good and works. It takes me a whole bottle of NOS (maybe 1
1/2 depending on how tired I am) to stay away, again I like the flavor.
however, Redline puts me to sleep, and 5 Hour energy makes me clench my jaw like crazy >.<.
the others I really just dont like the taste (Monster, RedBull, Rockstar etc.)
So it really depends if your talking flavor wise NoFear or NOS, they may work for you. But it depends really on your preference ^_^

i finally read this instead of glancing over it, are you serious? that is really awesome! O.O I mean it will be sold in California? A group wont try to ban it or something saying it is nasty and not right?
And blood does not taste that bad at all.
Thinking about the consistancy of blood, I wonder if many people will be able to keep something like that down, if it has the consistancy of blood... your mind might trick you or something and make you gag hahahaha (I saw that on a show sorry XP).
No but it wold be REALLY cool if they came out with that IN California by Fanime time. I would TOTALLY buy that >.< lol

It all depends on the person. For me, I drink Rumba, Samba & Tango, they're energy juice. It's tasty and keeps me strong and awake when needed. I used to drink alot back then but I realize it wasn't necessary.

He's right you know.
One of my friends drinks like 4 RedBulls every time he is over when we LAN Halo3. He still crashes by 5-6AM.
BTW he's probably going to die a horrible death.
Do what I did: TAKE VITAMINs.
Kept me alive along with cheap Subway all con long...
Meh. I just limit myself to a few hours of sleep. 5 hours a night is plenty for me to run on from about 7 am - 1 am. I'll end up dragging myself along for about an hour to get started in the morning, but as long as you eat regularly, that will also help keep you up and moving. Decent food = energy. Energy drinks = crash.

I don't mind the flavor of blood in moderation, but I would not find drinking something that tasted like it in a large amount to be very pleasant.

actually I sleep for a few hours BEFORE fanime. I get my self nice and rested, and I am a caffeine maniac the whole weekend. I just get a little shut eye here and there, I am good after that. XP I can usually wake up get to the con about 9 or so in the morning and get back to the hotel about 4 MAYBE 6 in the morning so.. 21 hours, surviving on 3 hours of sleep. and I am heavily caffeinated XD. im pretty set to go.
too bad none of my roomies know acupuncture... aparently if you get the right needles stuck in you when you are going to sleep, you sleep waaaay deeper and get energy back faster. That's what they do on those crazy bike-across-america marathons. They ride for like twenty two hours a day and then go into deep acupuncture sleepage for two hours and wake up and are totally fine. Intense.
I'm ok getting stuck by needles, but I don't know how I'd feel about that being done when I'm trying to sleep. But then again I don't like people behind me period. Massages/accupressure/accupuncture are a big no no, no matter who it is. I'm just a bit paranoid like that.
hm. we do all sorts of massaging in my ballet company. it's awesome! didn't they have a massage area at fanime?

I prefer S&M, on the sadist side anyway. Otherwise, pain is not satisfying at all. Unless I'm in a fight. I love meeting an opponent that can beat me or at least challenge me. While I don't enjoy the pain directly, I do feel better learning more about different fighting styles.

I'm both. I enjoy being a sadist and feeling pain. Pain helps me concentrate on certain things and while being a sadist, helps remove my anger and frustration from bottling up inside.

Simple= I don't sleep.
If you are having trouble with finding yourself dozing off, then you aren't having enough fun! Late at night and in the early hours of the morning, have an ongoing party that lasts for that entire period of time, drink lots of coffee, eat lots of ramen and candy and laugh nonstop. ^_^
amen!!
Alright I agree that sleeping during the convention is unbearable but please do it, don't relay on caffeine it gets really annoying in the mornings when alot of the con-goers are in a zombie trance and they kind of shuffle through the halls.(caffeine wares off)
yeah, i fully endorse those that can/try to stay up the whole con, but you gotta admit that every power nap you can fit in will do you lots of good. You know that not every single hour of the con is jam packed with events you can't miss, so go to a hotel room (yours or a friends), set the alarm to go off in an hour or two, and at least lie down and rest your body. It can't hurt.
as "fun" as it would be to run about 4+ days without sleep Fanime Staff probably doesnt recommend it
though I could easily believe that ALOT of fanime staff probably dont sleep because of other reasons. :P
For the most part, all of the "good stuff" is usually going on between 10am til about 2am or so.
I'm really curious what would be still considered "fun" between the hours of 2am thru 10am. besides the 24 video/game rooms, and randomness of the general concourse.
Again please do not decide to fall asleep in "random" places around the convention, please sleep in a hotel room, or your home. Dont sleep in public, the video/game rooms or on the concourse. its for your safety.
I wouldnt consider it fun- if someone were to get hurt, because they nodded off due to lack of sleep.

By this point 3am to 9am is where ppl who are still awake, wander the concourse, try to sleep in video rooms [but staff doesnt allow it] and or zone our playing video games in the egaming room [open 24 hours] - Rovers [fanime staff] get some pretty interesting stories as we wander around the convention during those hours. :P

Good old Roving :D
One of the best parts of having to wake up early during con
I'm thinking I'll probably sleep from 4am-7am due to having to pay for parking and take a little nap during the day.
I love wandering around during the wee hours of the morning
I think I typically sleep 4-5 hours a night or 6 at the most. I stay up a lot on the last night, Sunday.
Wait people actually sleep! JK
I usually get around 4-5 hours as well. It all depends on how chatty I am.
Fri. - 3 to 7
Sat. - 4 to 7
Sun. - 3 to 7
Mon. - 10 to whenever I feel like!
I'm so glad I'm staying the extra night down there. Was NOT looking forward to driving after a hard weekend of con-going. :D

I always intend to stay up late, get up early...enjoy every moment of Fanime. Then I get there. And I remember that I am much too old to survive on only a few hours of sleep. I get my 8 hours, and I hardly miss anything.
Not getting sleep during the con is sorta ridiculous 0_o To each their own, but for me, I prefer not to have the crash during the best parts of the con! Typically, my friends and I will leave around 2am, and then wake up around 10am to head back. Nothing of grave importance happens during those hours of precious sleep, and then you can be re-energized and feeling good about another round of no-stop con craziness for the next 16 hours. Bragging about staying up for 4 days is lame enough, but then actually attempting it? Not exactly the right way to gain respect from your fellow con-goers.

People are going to stay up no matter how much you tell them they should sleep. Some people are biologically able to stay up for longer periods of time than others. Besides, it's got nothing to do with gaining respect, it's about how things are more enjoyable in a state of slight delusion (due to lack of sleep) and how you can have more con time if you stay awake.
yeah, im not gonna diss someone cause theyre lacking sleep. kinda stupid if u ask me. heck, if thats what they wanna do, who am i to stop them? let them enjoy it. I doubt that anyone will be up for 4 days straight.....unless they're crackheads.
Will be sleeping regularly but strategically to make the most out of Fanime and not be a weird zombie roaming the con.
I'm sure I'll know when I'll be sleeping after the official PDF schedule's are released. ^^
I store up on sleep™ during the week leading up to Fanime by sleeping 24/7, therefore I don't need to sleep during Fanime.
I'm absolutely serious.
No way people are gonna be up for days straight without ANY sleep. Stupid.
I've been staying up super late due to finals and working on papers.
My sleep schedule has been wake up around 11am and crash around 5am
5 hours is plenty IMO
definitely recommend some sleep, because i stayed up until me and my friends passed out from partying lol. We eventually woke up but we also eventually realized that we missed a lot of events like the rock paper scissors contest :'( . Manage your time GET SOME SLEEP so you don't miss anything either!
yeah make sure you don't sleep through anything *coughliquid!cough*
I plan to sleep at least a little bit every day, although one all-nighter probably wouldn't be bad. I'm planning on having a flask with a couple bottles worth of 5-hour energy on me at all times.
Go to bed around 2 on day Zero
wake up around 9 on day 1
:> go to bed around 3am on every other day xD and wake up at 9 unless I die.

Similar to what I had planned out. I could go to bed around 3 to 4am.
I'm usually at the con center until about 3-3:30AM, then head back to my room intending to sleep until about 9 AM, only to be woken up around 7-8AM by roommates waking up around that time.
I should probably be a bit wary about that; one year I went back around 3 and I had absolutely nowhere to sleep, hence why I got a sleeping bag the year after.
guys, just make sure to get some sleep! I'm telling u, when u get in ur 30's, sleep will be ur best friend. It's funny, vice versa when i was younger.
i'm thinking 4-5 hours a night. thats my normal at home.

Then you and I should be friends :>
My body is odd.
If I'm REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SOMETHING, I can be like "Omg 8D [insert awesome here] is tomorrow i have to be awake by [time] 8D" and then stay up really late and still wake up at EXACTLY two minutes before [time].
I have no idea why o.o But I love it <3 So I'll sleep every night probably.
During con I average 5-6 hours of sleep. Though I make sure I get a full nights sleep Thursday night to carry me through the rest of the short nights.
Of course if I am feeling tired I have been known to cut out early for bed.
I went without sleep once for the last night of con. But I was a zombie the next day. Glad I didn't have to drive. I passed out on the car ride home. Now I just stay Monday night at the hotel and recover. ;D

Sounds like what I did back in '06.
Probably sleep will be 1am/2am till about 8am or so. I'd rather not look like the undead for photoshoots. O_o;
yeah i got overhyped last year and wanted to stay up and enjoy every moment of the con, but by the end of sunday i was napping on people's shoulders and wanting to roll around on the ground. actually after the black and white ball my friends and i just layed down on the con floor in our dresses and relaxed. that carpet gets sooooo soft when you're sleep deprived.
I know I'll sleep more than I ever have this year.... I've been susceptible to getting sick lately
i will be sleeping in my own apt.
my apt is only about 20 mins walk from fanime.
one of the good thing of living near downtown.
