I have a question about the karaoke equipment used at Fanime this year. How did you guys used any mp3 and automatically converted it into a karaoke background song? The vocals in the mp3 just dimmed out as soon as the singer sings. I really want to know the software and equipment used in the karaoke.

I registered my brother and I a while ago. Now, that the E-cards are out, I have a little trouble logging in to my brother's account and get the E-card. He sort of forgot his password and I used the same e-mail address for both. Is it possible if I bring the payment statement to Fanime to show that he is registered?

Hi! I am new to cosplaying and recently, I got seriously interested. However, I have some problems. I tried doing a lot of research on making the clothes for characters. Unfortunately, I did not produce adequate information. (Please mind that I did google search and used cosplay.com!!!) Now, I am seriously lost. So I ask, to all of those reading this, give me some good resources on making my clothes to cosplay.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention this. This is my first time cosplaying but not afraid to cosplay. I have a little experience in sewing and only know how to do basic stiches. I am thinking of cosplaying as Fayt from Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time. Unfortunately, I need some sources to tell me on making patterns on the clothes, types of stiches, and whatnot. I am unable to find some good ones. If possible, please give me an all-in-one source for all types of cosplaying.

I am just curious all of a sudden on this topic and the fact that I just suddenly wanted to chat on a touchy subject. If you are a male, "male" lesbien, "male" gay, or anything regarding to the manly "spectrum", what is the girliest Anime or manga that you have completed watching/ reading? As for the female side of things, what is the manliest Anime or manga that you have completed watching/ reading?

As for me, since I am a male or the "manly spectrum" of the gender. These are some of the girliest Anime and manga that I have actuallly completed watching/ reading:

*Fruits Basket (Yes! I did survive it somehow. Got seriously bored after the second episode but wanted to finish watching it because I dislike not completing something. Oh my god, I seriously do not want to go through with that again... >_<)
*Absolute Boyfriend (Dunno how the heck I finished reading that manga. Probably I got bored while waiting for my regular weekly manga to release.
*Sailor Moon (Oh yeah. But that was a long time ago before I got to the point where I like the manly stuff more. Now, I just cannot stand it...)
*A few more which I sort of forgot.

Hi, I'm Chinese and would like to say something important, and probably bold, on the behalf of the Chinese on the Fanime fourm. PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU SAY CHINA IS A VERY BAD COUNTRY DURING THE OLYMPIC GAMES!!! Even if most of us love China and will support it to death or something, it doesn't mean we will fully support the government or something. It's true that the Chinese government has flaws and whatnot, but that doesn't mean the rest of the world have flaw-free governments. Moreover, when you say something negative about China or its culture, it hurts most of us very deeply. Second, China went through a lot of HELL to even reach its current state. In fact, China had to face European economic takeover (19th Century), war with the Japanese (20th Century), World War II (20th Century), and so many others before it became communist. Now, I am not saying I am pro-communism, but I am actually saying China's government is relatively new and of course has many flaws, just like the early stages of the United States government. So please, first think about the negative comments you wish to say about China first before saying it. Aside from that, you can watch the Olympic games at Fridays at 5AM at Pacific time (GMT -8:00) on CCTV4 live on the link provided. For sure, it would be on it and everything will be live! (Much better than having to wait for NBC or something to start showing it.) Anyway, enjoy the 2008 Olympics and the link I provided!!! XD

Hi! I was wondering would anyone be willing to cosplay as any of the characters from Tsukihime/ Melty Blood? I am going to dress up Shiki Tohno/ Nanaya. It would suck if I was the only one who dresses up as one of the characters from it. Thus, it would be cool if there would be more to join in on this.
