OK a little more back on track. I was where you are now last year, so I started a gathering to get all the lone con-goers together. Anyway it half work but i think it will work much better this year  as I know what I'm doing now and I now know that most people are not there on Thursday. But the ones that got to meet up with me we had a really good time for the most part. oh side note just because were at fanime dose not mean we play D&D and just because we are to nice to tell you to @#$%up dose not mean that we would like to hear about how to kill a dragon with a 1000 peons and a ladder for 3 hours(not talking about you guy in chopper hat)!!! Anyway as the con gets closer I will start pulling people together with real place to meet and things to do.

Ok so i'm leading a group for the first time, at first it was just me and one other but Now i'm up to like 9 people. Anyway my question is do any of you guys have any ideas on how to make this easier. oh a side note I did manage to get hotel rooms for all of them but have not done air fair yet or gotten the money for Pre-registration. oh and one more thing I'm the only one that has been it fanime before. So any ideas on things to do places to eat or ways to make the trip better be be very helpful. 

Is it just me or was hotel reservation open this time last year? If any one knows when it will open if you could tell me that would be nice, i would hate to not get a good room this year.

I would bring $100-$200 if i was you last year I found a dealer that was selling Armitage cels and he did not know what they were so i got like 8 for $5 each so even if you don't think you will need it. Bring more money for the things you don't know that you need yet ;)

Ok so has anyone been to the ARCADIA Restaurant at the Marriott? Is it really good food or just really expansive? When I travel I love to go out to nice restaurants, but my budget is not such that a can spend $80 on one person and not have it be REALLY good food. Also if there are any other really nice restaurants around that you think I should go to please tell me about them ;D

I have been sending PM to alot of people to help set up meet ups and the only hard time we have down is to meet at the line to get in at like 7:30AM to 8:00AM (real hard time I know) so if you would like to come do so or If you have ideas for things to do put them down here or PM

ok so this is my first time do thing this, what will we be doing?

I do not think its a good idea to have a wheeled bags, last year I saw like 5 people with them and all of them where hitting people and running over peoples feet which lead to unhappy con goers and unhappy rovers. Space is limited at con so keeping things off the ground would be good for all. also if you have to many bags with you it would be easy for you to lose things or have them stolen. If you ask the dealers they are happy to hold things for you until you can come back and get them or maybe you could get some friends to help out.

well its good to see that there are other people that are in the same boat as me and that they would like to meet up, and to that end I have this to say. I will be there for all of con, so where would you guys like to meet? or you could just PM me for my cell number. hope to see you guys there and have a nice day. :D

Well in going to Fanime alone for the first time and like many of the people on here I'm a little apprehensive about going to fanime with out knowing anyone. So I will will put my name here and the days i will be at fanime for, and some info about my self. In the hope that other people that are going by them selves or who are just looking to make more friend will do the same and then we can all meet at fanime and no longer be all alone.

OK I think this goes here, anyway how much dose it cost to get from the airport to the hotel? Its only like 4 miles so is $10 good for a cab? Also I will be getting in at7AM-8AM on Friday if some one would like to split the cab that would be cool with me.
