hmmm, i'll be arriving at the airport as well to attend the Con. does anyone know the fare for a taxi (Mineta San Jose Airport to the convention site)?

the light rail system thing would probably be cheaper. if you're arriving around the same time as i am, perhaps we could meet up in bagage claim and take the advanture together. at least then if we get lost we wouldn't be alone ^_^;;;

A quick question concerning Holstered Guns.

I have a airsoft that will be holstered but will have no bbs, no clip inserted, and the battery slot lid will be left opened at all times. Is this deemed acceptable to wear or am I going to have to have it out of sights because my costume is based on a police officer's uniform.

it's probably the same for your airsoft gun as it is for mine. you will have to get it peace bonded to the holster. however i have been told that at the designated photo stations there will be con ops and peace bonders who will cut the bonding for the picture and then re-bond the weapon after words.

so in short, yes, you will need to get it peace bonded, but you can still take it out for photo opportunities and such in the proper designated areas.

help! i'm having a realy difficult time trieing to find a grey blazer that's reasonably priced to complete my bleach costume, anyone know of any good stores/site that sell a blazer close to that style? i've tried a lot of stores around here ie JC penney, macy's, robinson may. i can't find anything close enough. can anyone help?

he he i'm currently working on a bleach school uniform. don't have time nor fundings to be one of the characters so i'll just be a background member. hehehehe

does anyone know if anyone is holding a gatheirng for bleach? or going to a gathering for bleach? ^_^;;;

Well, the only airport close to the CC is the San Jose Airport (Mineta). They have shuttles that would take you to the "Metro Airport" light rail station a few blocks away. The light rail would take you directly to the CC and all hotels.

hey all, i'll be flieing to the con, most likley landing in the san jose airport (unless i find an airport closer to the con center) however the friend of mine that was going to provide my transportation from airport to con upon arrival and from con to airport when departing, might also be flieing and will be without a car up there. is there anyone that would be so graciouse as to possibly provide me with the transportation? preferably a female (seeing as i am a girl myself i would just feel more comfertable that way)

i understand most of this policy. but just to completely clarify so i don't get in trouble i would like to ask this

the prop guns for my costume are airsoft guns. if the clips are empty and they have the blaze orange tip at the end of the barrel, clearly visible, as well as other then for pictures in designated areas they will remain in the hollsters at my hips, well secured and buckled in safely, are they still concidered harmful enough to need peace bonding?

anyone know where/when the finished weapon's policy will be posted?

no just around con. unfortunatly my friend decided to wait until the last minute to make the final decision on whether he was going to go or not, and my finanaces hinged on him. so, due to that, i have verry little time to put together some costumes so i'm going for simple yet awsome costumes. as it was i only JUST made pre-reg. i got in on the last day at like 10 p.m. thank the Manga Gods for the internet!

has there been any word on the weapons policy for the con? i know there is still pleanty of time, but some of the stuff needed for costumes needs to be ordered and shipped and that takes time, and much of that also needs personal alterations which takes more time, so i'm starting to get a little antsy about what will be approved and what won't

it sounds like a lot of people lose their badges. i think i'm ganna have to be the badge guard and make sure any lost badges get taken to lost and found, and since i never sleep, anyone sleeping in lobby or such i will either stash in my room or tell them to tuck their badge away *nodnodnodnod* i'm WAY too hyper and awake! *bounces* can't wait till Fanime!!!!

o.k. so the style of "gun" i need for my costume only comes in airsoft. so i did a search and found a child's bb gun series of it. this thing can hardley shoot the bb's and if i leave the gun completly empty would that be alright? they're going to be staying in the holsters anyways, and they are clearly fake, they have the orange cap thingy too. so would those be o.k.? or do i still need to look for somthing else?

AH-HA! i shal once again put my own spin on things and create somthing different in my own mind...Kyo's sister! yes, i'm wiered, i create non-existant characters, but my hair is long and kinda brow/red/blonde with black streaks....not to mention i'm a girl....heh heh....but i have the rest of Kyo's clothing down. and what rule says i can't create my own character?!
