I have all of them including the ones that I took of you online, so look through the albums!
One suggestion that I would make is not having it during Opening Ceremonies since it made it feel that our event got overshadowed by Opening Ceremonies. Maybe next year we can still have it on Friday, but maybe at 4pm instead of 3pm if we want it to have it on Friday again.
Either than that, all the shoots and the events are a definite keep!
yea thanks fpr the heads up ill for sure put our gathering rightafter opening ceromonies this upcoming year, did you know i was unaware that opining ceromonies @ 3 till i looked @ my programing guide. also THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR ALL THE PHOTOS YOU TOOK. and trust me the events are here to stay! still taking additions though

Looks like I'm changing my cosplay!
I got my friend (by force) into Ouran, and we plan on going as the twins. If I can convince my other friend NOT to be Misty from Pokemon, I'll probably have a Renge, too. (And trust me, she's JUST like her...I'll be buying a magic mic from the dollar store and she'll iritate the hell out of you...SHe's got the laugh down too, being in theatre and all)

Looks like we are gonna have a lot of people for the Ouran gathering, I just know it! So many things to do...but many things to think of for next year. Me and Hikaru are extremely excited, so are Hunny sempai and mori sempai + everyone else. Hoping things go well and run smoothly. Again, the cake will be brought to the gathering...although I won't guarantee on it's safe arrival like this year XD; So...sorry if the cake gets tumbled over...or else all the hunnys will be sad and try to kill me ^^; Soooo yeah, may ask hikaru to buy the cake this time since he is closer to the con so that it might come up safe.
Other than that, hope this gathering grows! Twice the members, double the fun!

well i still cant believe my eyes that this upcoming years gathering is really huge already! i mean within the first week of posting @ least 15-20 ppl signed up, and were still counting, matt if you wanna bring a cake for all the hosts thats fine jus make sure that all the honey's dont get to it before we do, if that happens ill definatly deduct another $80,000 from your salary, mikaru if hikaru wants to bring the cake thats fine! =] oh btw if its lob-sided as it was last year its fine as long as its still edible, or in some twins face for that matter lol XD still looking foward to another long ouran gathering this year, hopefully everyone will stick around till the end, but anyway, does anyone have more sugestions for events?
Hm...as for events...maybe we can play tag. But that's just an idea to throw out there lol. If mine and Hikaru's cake is lopsided again...prepare to be caked :D

Although Tamaki, (well he's like a big brother to me and he acts like him too much not to be him ;)) he already wanted to be Tamaki. ;DSo it all worked out I guess. Everyone else it took awhile to get into the idea until we had an ouran marathon which helped big time. :D

Oh my, that's great ^^ I'm hoping the rest of my group shows up xD But mostly everyone seems busy with other things so they might not make it at all. Good news everyone we have sucessfully made a real host host club @ the ALA. Con this year. We are hoping to transition the event to this con so we can run a gathering and a real host club event. If anyone would like to voulenteer please let me know! Ps happy 2010 Host Club members

new locale is up and its official that we are go for friday, those of you who wanted saturday i am sorry to anounce this but with all the gatherings going on then it will be hell getting everyone there who might have a gathering that day and also establishing a Ouran gathering during mutlpe gatherings on the same day therefore i may change the day to sunday (tenitive) but as for official we are on friday

It is actually listed as CPMS = Concourse Patio Marriott Side. The only reason for the SoCal part is because it was originally founded in SoCal but we're expanding to all parts of Cali. I hope to see you at the panel!

We don't know yet. Panels department is still figuring out time, date, and location and I will post that as soon as they deliver it to us.

Wow! Fanime has yet again snuck up on me! :o Last year I wasn't able to make it to the Ouran gathering since we were running pretty late ( We got there at 5 D: ) but I'm really hoping to make it this year! I'll be going as Haruhi, since I actually have the jacket + pants + dress shirt! :] All I need is the tie + patch and I'll be good to go, plus a hair cut.
It sounds really fun, unfortunately I'm not familiar with the area the gathering is at. That map kind of helps though, since I know where the vendors rooms are. Hopefully I'll be able to make it + find it! c:

Hmm.. is that a map of the top, or bottom floor? I thought it was of the top floor, but then I realized the elevators are going in the direction they go for the bottom floor, so I'm a bit confused. :o

ok everyone two weeks till fanime and mommy is really feeling good, so good that his actual host club is doing a verry special event and shot for everyone. the newest tradition and addition to our gathering will be the champagne shot... no not actual champagne since most of us are underage but the next best thing apple cider! so anyone excited were almost there?

I just wanted to stop by real quick to say that this gathering sounds like a real blast and that I'll definately be attending;
I'll be cosplaying as Haruhi Fujioka, and I can't wait to get together with all my fellow host club members! ;D
I would of gone at the gathering as Kyoya Ootori but sorry guys, it'll interfere wit my outfit for the Vocaloid gathering which starts an hour later it happens i'm looking very forward to and plus its a pain just to change to the other outfit from Kyoya to Hiyama outfit since I have to put it on and tie. My very first cosplay gathering conflict.... Hopefully next time!
I just ordered my patch the other day and it'll be here in a few days time :] I was thinking of getting the tie at the con since I saw them there last year, that way I don't have to worry of whether or not it'll get here in time! :\
Hey everyone good to see more people show their friendly faces and dedication to the club, I'm sorry to see those of you who cant make it or have conflicts with other gatherings, its ok mommy still loves all his children and will forgive you so that we see you @ next years gathering. With less than a week away I eagearly await to see all of you again for a great gathering and in hopes of expanding possibly this years and for sure next years gathering.
Don't forget Hosts Mommy and Mori-senpai are holding a panel for our real life Host Club that takes place during actual conventions such as AX and future cons. We encourage those of you attending the gathering to attend the panel for there will be a raffel and prizes handed out during the panel. Also....WE ARE RECRUITING!!! If you are interested on joining please either attend the panel or let Mori or myself know during the gathering.

Whew! My friend and I both have our patches, and we'll be bringing our plain black ties with some purple ribbons as a back up plan in case we don't see any ties at the convention. C: I still need to get my wig, but if I don't get it I'll still go to the gathering.. Now all I have to worry about is for us to get there on time! xD

Edit: We just reserved our hotel at Miliptas, it's about a 12 minute drive to the convention :] I talked to my parents and we're going to go to Evangalines in Old Sacramento tomorrow to pick out a wig for Tamaki! Also my friend is going to get her hair cut soon and dyed, so we're pretty much almost perfectly set! :D Anybody else doing last minute things still?

*sigh* I almost kinda wish I could actually have a Kaoru and Hikaru fix my "hair" (wig) for me as a game at the gathering. :P I haven't found any time to get it to look right and I doubt I'll get any. That and I'm not even sure I know how to properly deal with it! :D (-.-') Oh well.

Well the turnout was way less than what we expected...if location was the problem, we'll let BSahpire know because we thought that spot was perfect for what we had planned.

It was a lot of fun, even with the lack of people. I will try to make it to the panel on Monday, but if not, Mommy will be back next year.
I can't believe i missed this! I was running late from my work shift and ran into some of the group, who gave me cake! (Thanks guys it was delicious! :D) Hopefully I can make it on time and with a better wig next year!
I just wanted to stop by and say thanks to the Socal Host Club for working so hard to pull this gathering together. I know it was small but I still had plenty of fun. And who knows, maybe next year it will be much bigger and we'll end up with a few less Kyoya and a few more Mitsukuni xD Anyways, thanks again, and I can't wait for the 2011 gathering ^_^

Even it was smaller than we expected it to be...next year will be twice as better and bigger of course. Though we need to find a proper place to stay...like in the front so that everyone in the public will know where we are at :] Me and Hikaru will provide cakes next year as well. Really hoping we can have a bigger crowd to join in 'the cake eating contest'! But anyways, it was a pleasure to meet all of the hosts who went to the gathering. Sorry about the non-hyped-up twins this year ha ha...we were in drag....pretty drag XD didn't want to make such a mess...but next year for sure, we will be up and running again!
