Still working on my KH1 Riku costume...Still working on the sword, and the pants, and the f@#!>& shoes...

I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather that time slow down a bit.  It seems to be going a little too fast for me right now.  I'd like it to slow a bit so I can work on my costume (can't remember where I put my old Riku costume, working from scratch) and finish on time.

I'd like to see Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: Federation vs. Zaft II, however, I have a feeling that this won't happen.

Be careful with how you use the Wii controller...a collection of various Wii-related stories, involving the controller or objects around the Wii controller being broken.

Personally, I'd say that the Gundam franchise would be the one beating a dead horse, although I admit that Gainax does churn out quite a bit of "new" Eva merchandise each year.  If you look at, Eva has only one 26 ep series, a few movies, a couple of games, and a bunch of small merchandise.  Now take a look at the gundam world.  There are numerous series and a variety of different "alternate universes", various movies, numerous games, tons of models, ect.

Maybe it's just me, but...why exactly are they remaking Kanon?  Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but I'm kinda puzzled as to why they're remaking it.  Is it because they thought that they screwed up something the first time around?  Did they mess up/omit parts of the story, or is it because this is to please the fans?

I need to re-do my Riku costume and make his Soul Eater...possibly when I graduate this year...As for other costumes, no plans at the moment.

Fanboy funk is a problem at fanime, however we shouldn't forget the fangirl funk (c'mon people, we are equal opportunity thinkers, are we not).  Yes girls, you too are not exempt from this.  I had a first hand encounter after being swarmed by a bunch of fangirls while in costume.  I thought it wasn't that bad, until I was surrounded and left gasping for fresh air.  I swear, it should be a rule that people bathe at least once a day while at Fanime, both men and women.

That bike is amazing.  Although, I suspect that the motor has been removed, just like his previous Xenosaga hoverbike.  Nonetheless, it is absolutely amazing.

Good things that happened:
-  Actually had pictures taken of me this year (went as KH1 Riku).
-  Got to talk with the Kwoon/Undercut people.
-  Got picked as a volunteer out of the crowd at the Stunt Demo in the Artists' Gallery.
-  Hung out with my friends.
-  Saw a few Fanime board members (Ryu, gmontem, ect...)

Bad things that happened:
-  Missed out on the KH gathering because I was making the Riku costume.
-  Got jumped/bum-rushed by a group of fangirls because of said Riku costume.
       -->  said group swarmed in a mass of ~10
       -->  said group had BO to the point that I couldn't breathe (SHOWERING AT LEAST ONCE A DAY NEEDS TO BE A RULE AT FANIME!!!!!!)
       -->  the group scared me and the general population
-  Injured myself trying to escape from said rabid fangirls...bad times...
-  Forgot to bring my camera...nuts...
-  Accomplished no work during Fanime (I am so royally screwed these next few weeks).
-  Missed out on a couple of pannels...

But overall, it was fun.  Hope to be back next year.

Don't want any penniless otaku or non-Fanime attendee taking food from the bins  :)

I'm afraid this may happen. :( Are the bins something like those blue mailboxes -- things may come in but nothing comes out?

One possible solution: get a staff member dressed as a black mage and give him/her a tazer.  If anyone steals from the bin, have the black mage say "Bolt 3, b!tch" and zap them.  Problem solved.

But seriously, it would be very disappointing and upsetting if anyone dared to steal from the bin.
