What about paying for only a day at-con?

Ok, this is my first time going to Fanime. I read that FanimeCon members need a goverment id and etc. Do you need to be a Fanime member to be in the con?

If you only buy a badge for only one day, do you still have to be with a parent or guardian if you are a minor?
