To answer the question of friendship, Well that depends. Most of the people I meet at previous conventions I haven't keep contact after the first month. Life kind of sets you back into the routine you had. It also doesn't help that the people I meet are far away.

To answer the food question, I can't remember but the pizza place was good. Usually I go find a Chilies or some where less crowed. I usually eat light breakfast, lunch but the dinner is when I get something more filling.

Well the original poster hasn't came back, and we kind of just when with it. But I say since most of us will be staying over Thursday we can meet up some what early on Friday. But not too early.

Arggg...one week till April and I'm starting to feel the crunch.

I can get the pants, tie and chain but the shirt is a bit tricky. Also my sewing skills are zero.

If I can get it in time Auron from Final Fantasy X. But I will be going in the male school uniform from Blood-C and the male uniform from either Ouran HC host club or the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, so..pretty much a school boy theme.

Oh....hard question I seen so many its hard to chose. I guess anything I scores a 8 or better on my MAL. Other than that I'm not much of a manga or video game fan.

Some friends I meet at AX told me about it, and my brothers friend is/was a staff member.

I'm looking forward for the B&W ball, I just like the excuse to ware a nice suit.
Other events are the AMV's, the random anime shows, The anime jeopardy, oh..the cosplayers, can't forget about them.

To answer Kpmoneky girl's question, nope I don't know Japanese, but would like to learn it some day.
So far I can understand a few words and the standard introduction and thats my limit on Japanese.

To answer Hunterluvcookies question: Yes. April is my crunch month, I'll booking my room, finding a cosplay, saving up, geting my suit ready for the B&W ball and planing for AX.

Yeah, why not? Besides think of it like a meet and greet.
We really don't have to hang out the entire day.

Like I said in my frist post, many people will have other plans, or stuff they want to see like cosplay gatherings, panels, watch anime, or concerts, etc.

People can always regroup or join up later for other stuff they want to do. Then they can go back and do their own thing.

Its all about meeting new people and making friends.

A sign wouldn't be nececssary.
When the time comes, those with smart phones can just post here, or they can call someone. I'll be more that happy to give out my number once fanime starts.

Ok, I can think of two places, the frist is the second floor of the Hilton that lounge part where they have the sofas.
The second spot is on the second floor by the Marriott side either outside on the paito or the tables that are next to them.

As for the time it could be at 9:00 or 10:00 and again at 12:00 or 1:00 but thats just my guess once the program schedule goes up we can decide what time has the lest interfearance.

As far as the pub crawl I can make a new thread, since a coulpe of people are not over 21 yet. But I'll have to do a bit more research and testing on bars/pubs near by.

It's always great to hear frist time con goers.
As far as Death Note cosplayers, there is always a hand full of L, Light, and Misa walking around.
I'm not too sure there would be a DN gathering, but check out the cosplay gathering threads.

I think you have it the other way around.
Besides do both. Ax and am2 are on different dates this year. So really you have no excuse.

I believe the closest thing to electronics that I saw last time was a portable dvd player, and some old/new video games.
You'll have better luck with that in an electronics store.

And fyi I have been going to cons alone for a while and always meet friends to hang out with.

On a side note we could aslo do a 21+ pub crawl like at AX..but that may take a bit more planing and if people are willing.

Well I guess I can help out a bit. We had "hang out durring the con" thread over at AX. Heres how it when:

-Everyone listed their planed schedules for the four days
-We had a set meeting point in the morring where we would get to know/wait for everyone to show up.
- Once everyone got together we then spilt up with who ever had the same kind schedule.
- We also had a afternoon meeting place where we would wait for a while for the other people that woke up late or had other plans.
-Durring the afternoon meet up we would get lunch or go to what ever part of the con. We also used the same meeting place for thoese that wanted to get dinner or or hang more in the evening.

With that being said, about 20 people showed up in the morrings, but with everyone different schedules about 3-4 people endding up sticking together.

Lunch and dinner is when mostly everyone hanged out again a bit. Then went back doing their own things
