Fanime has it's very own IRC chatroom! It's #fanime on the Rizon (http://www.rizon.net/) network. We have a very friendly group of regulars on there, so feel free to join in ^_^. If no one is talking when you initially sign on, don't just leave. There isn't always constant chatter, so just leave it on in the background 'till discussion starts up.
For those of you who haven't used IRC yet, xchat (http://www.silverex.org/news/) should work fine. Mac users might wanna try Colloquy (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/10526) or MacIrssi (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/12738/macirssi). There's also some very nice web clients available for those who don't want to download, which you can find here (http://qchat.rizon.net/?channels=fanime) and here (http://www.mibbit.com/).

because the comuter got trashed by my nephew with all the games he downloaded. i'll be saving up for a new computer once i have new glasses and start getting fanime funds together.
