This was my second year and I can honestly say I didn't enjoy it as much as last year. The lines were awful. I am getting really sick of the cons organization when it comes to getting people their badges. I mean 4 fucking booths for getting a bag and then you have to get in line for your badge separately which wasn't by group it was just by alphabetical order. I mean last year there was a black out and I was still home earlier than this year. Other than that I think the con was great excluding the lack of traffic control in the hallway between the dealers hall and the gaming room. As much as I respect the fanime staff for everything they do and running a really fun con, they dropped the ball when it came to registration. I'm still torn on whether or not I will be returning next year, but in any case most of the con made up for the seven hours I waited in line.

Shout out to Justin (I think it was justin) in the borderlands cosplay that I tried to help go to peace-bonding. You seemed pretty cool, I wish we could've hung out more.

Also shout out to the couple sitting behind me in the "how to sew" panel. If you guys ever need help with armor just drop me a message on Valiant Props on facebook.

And shout out to everyone that made this a fun con!

This year was alright, there was not a lot I was hyped up for but my one gathering really. I was the leader for my pre-reg group and I got there around 4:30pm. I was in line for 6 hours in front of a really huge group of loud high school kids to kept bumping into me and bringing friends into the line.

Honestly, I miss when Pre-reg and early-reg were separate lines. I waited faar too long to get my badge. I was tired and having loud high school kids behind me for 6 hours did not help. When I got into the second to last room I also noticed there were a dozen new people behind the guy I was told to remember who was originally in front of me from the outside lines. The lady in front of me said she'd just followed the line, somehow she managed to get into the 2nd to last room without having to wait in the whole line.

One more thing about the lines, having to pick up badges in different lines when picking up for a group is the worst idea. I had to go into 5 different lines for the badges I was picking up. I saw another girl next to me picking up for 8 people. I wish they would put all the badges who are under a group with the group leaders name. It was quite ridiculous having to go into 5 separate lines when I was already exhausted.

I have a very bad feeling that it was myself and my friends that were the loud obnoxious group of teenagers that were behind you. I apologize for any of the conduct that you found irratating by either myself or my friends. I know for a fact that when I get around my friends, we tend to get pretty loud which usually pisses off people in our nearby vacinity. I hope we didn't completely ruin your con.

best regards,

Alex

My plan is to improve my "Saxophoniness" for next Fanime:

1) Learn and arrange more game/anime/geek songs.
2) Form a group of other musicians to play songs with me.
3) Play at more cosplay gatherings.
4) ???
5) Profit

I have an entire year to practice, which means my repertoire will be expanded and I will try to play songs that are harder and longer.  ;)

I'll bring my trumpet. You might remember me, I was hanging around you in the red umbrella security cosplay outside the con on Monday. Can't wait to see you next year! Loved your music!

I was in a red umbrella corp security officer cosplay and on saturday I was carrying a sign that said, "My arms are tired." If anyone has any pictures of me around the con or at the resident evil meet up I'd love to see them. I was dressed like this (Except with a gas mask on):

Thanks everyone!

First off, to the Spitter at the Valve Gathering (x) You were the only one but I want to say how I fucking appreciate your costume and if you don't mind talking to a creeper like me, I'd love if you hit me up! Friends, naturally.

And to the dudes on Sunday (one of them already found me on tumblr):

YOU guys made my Sunday fucking amazing and I hope we could keep in contact! I only got one of your names, and it was the man next to the woman crouching in black to her right (not the dude to the suitcase.) Nick, wasn't it? You kept calling me queer (I know, it was because of my cosplay) but I wish I could of got your dudes' DA or tumblr or something. You guys were fucking AMAZING.

I was actually the guy in the red umbrella security costly holding the camera on the ground. Which one were you?
