I want to help out.  I can lead all of the basic ballroom dances.  I can also help lead or follow in west coast swing and east coast swing.  Also, who's teaching this thing?

I'm making a long-haired human-ryuk.  Hope it works out.

Just look for something that says metal aging or wearing or something that makes metal look old.  I don't know if there is a spray that does that.  Craft stores carry this stuff in paint form.  Also, are you making me a costume?  Posted my measurements.

Also for the metal areas I think you can go to a craft store and get some metallic aging spray or paint.  I used some on my Ryuk jewelry and they look great.  They look worn and old instead of being a single shade of bright silver.  I know theres some for bronze and other colors if you look.  Also, dirt works well too, but being dirty is a little ....dirty.

Was wondering about the rumors on the masquarade ball.  Is there actually going to be some ballroom or swing (west coast or east coast)?  If so, I want to volunteer in this area.  I can lead and follow.  Also, I don't mind volunteering anywhere else.  I hope I can work off the entire thing on maybe the first day...possibly.

Wondering if anyone living in San Jose would be willing to have people room up with them for the con. I don't feel like paying for a hotel room and would rather hang out with local anime-loving people.

I can only do lead, but it would be nice to know how to follow as well.

So it's possible to volunteer on the day before the con right?  Is there a specific place I need to go to begin volunteering the day before the con? Where exactly do you go to sign up for volunteer work within the convention?   Is it just where you also register? There will be a sign that says Volunteers right?

I'm dressing up as human-Inuyasha, "party-Inuyasha" for the raves, and human-Ryuk from Deathnote.  I might wear my simple Wufei or Duo costume.

I WILL attend the ballroom dancing if it is available.  I love ballroom dance, and I've taken classes.  I know West coast, East coast (swing), Tango, Waltz, Lindy hop, Salsa, Cha-Cha, pretty much anything learned at a college-level beginning ballroom class with a little extra classes that I attend during the night.  I want to do West coast with people at Fanime! I'll be Inuyasha, and Ryuk, maybe Duo.....

I was the crazy Inuyasha dancer.  Sorry if I sucked at raving and doing the whole "show your moves" in the circle.  I'm pretty good at ballroom and I am wondering if anyone would be willing to dance some west coast or hustle to the rave next year?

I was not aware that we had to initially register 10 or more people to get the group perks.  I'm was quite saddened when I browse around and saw this

Note: Group rewards are still to be determined. Only groups that initially register with 10 or more will receive these rewards.

I assumed that I could add more people over time until I had ten or more to get the perks.  Is there any way for me to start a new account and have the payment credited to the new account so that I can add 10 + members (and myself) at the same time to get the group benefits?
