I Promise that I will finally have decent cosplays.

I promise that I will not throw myself into a crazy debt in the dealers room...
I promise to finally go watch Battle Royale II at all costs
I promise to get that Hayato cosplay together and buy that wig!

I promise to NOT spend all the money I'm going to have this year in the dealers room within the first 10 minutes ;o;!
I will go as a Bishounen character.
I will bring twice as much pocky than I brought this year

I wasn't in town. I bought my registration about 3 days after fanime '04 ended, and when I found out I couldn't go this year I was PISSED.
My Fanime 2k6 PROMISES!:

My advice is if u want to move on to oni courses.
Just start out wit easy ones like Naoki Standard or Soul 6 (songs that starts wit standard) and and you'll get a kick wit it. And after that play another song that has easy songs to combo out until "u dare enough to combo out hards one".

hah! the secret is this one website where you name exactly what you want in your room, you name how many stars you want,
(don’t put 4 because that’s just getting your hopes too high) and then you name your price.
This will be my groups third year at the con and we have gotten fifty dollars per room both previous years at the Hyatt using this site...if only I could remember the site...Ask "serajwl" from this site about it, she'll give you the website to do it.
Tip: book very far in advance! (We did that last time and ended up with a suite because they forgot about us alas all the last minute people came in.)
I promise to put as much thought and time into attempting to do a cosplay skit next year.
I promise to do the same amount of thought and time into attempting to con all my friends, my brother and his friend, and anyone else I can manage to drag along into dressing up for at least one day of the con.

I promise to have an even better time in '07 than '06 (although that might 'cause me to die from euphoria.)
- I promise to bring more money if the Jpophouse booth sells h.NAOTO again! (I was only able to buy one shirt because I had already used up my money and they put out the clothing on the 3rd day of the con... T__T I wanted to buy more h.NAOTO merchandise dammit!)
- I promise to find a way to get REALLY cheap parking somewhere, or have someone drop me off on the first day and pick me on the last day.
- I promise to bring HEALTHY food to Fanime. (No Mc.Donald's for EVERY meal...)
- I promise to bring eyedrops and tylenol for the lack of sleep and hangovers.
- I promise to share my room with others so that I don't have to pay so much in the end.
- I promise to be first in line for MusicFest and any other band performance I like.
- I promise to hold off my hardcore headbanging for the best act and not wear myself out on the first half of MusicFest.
- I promise not to use my money carelessly on stuff such as daifuku, Pocky, and Starbuck's no matter how much I crave them. (Okay, maybe Starbuck's once in a while... )

Wow. For a first con, I accomplished a lot of what I set out to do. That's half of my promises. Would've been more if I had more money for the DDR machine...
In '07, I promise:
*To be into one other anime (at LEAST ONE) than Ranma ½.
*To get to the finals in the Karaoke (that means not stuffing myself silly and singing with a hoarse voice)
*To get more glomps!
*To bring MORE than $200 in pocket money... instead of using part of my LIFE SAVINGS to get into the con.

For 2007, I promise to...(everything below is subject to change)
Do
+ Have a group cosplay with my friends.
+ Join staff again. Hopefully Stamp Rally again if the same dpt head still stays/new dpt head is really cool.
+ Limit my drinking more, or even better: Not drink at all! =D
+ Make more time to go out and eat and not die from hungerT_______T
+ Get conjoined staff rooms with my friends in the Hilton, if possible(those Marriott rooms w/o locks in bathrooms seem unsafe in a co-ed room).
+ Get more batteries/memory for my digital camera to get more video footage.
+ Stay longer in Cosplay Masquerade this time.
+ Attend Club Fanime earlier on Friday so I won't have to leave MusicFest/Masquerade in the middle to see it nor will I get in there and start puking because it smells like FC 2005's E-gaming room(no really, the smell made me gag).
Don't
+ Get drunk with some random cosplayer I don't even know nor end up in bed with him after drinking a whole bottle.
+ Not put up with having my room packed with 11 - 13 people in my quad person room.
+ Let my department second keep me from attending panels/events that I DEFINETLY MUST SEE!!! I had to miss out on the Gaia Online Saturday panel because I had to take a shift in the video roomT_______T(which wasn't bad, but I wouldn'tve had to do it if there were more avaliable morning shifts).
-need to go to game room to game (instead of just standing around watching others play the whole time)
-attend more gatherings
-somehow get a digital camera or bring some disposables
Get there on Tues with the rest of the senior staff and MAKE SURE FLUFFY IS WORKING. OMG.
Try to format and print everything out before con, even if there are changes :evil:

I didn't promise anything last year, but it was still a helluva good time on my part.
As for '07 [if I attend, that is o .o]:
I promise to:
- remember my camera batterya and saved up money o .o;
- prepare for things in advanced
- get a hotel room w/group [hopefully]
- staff/volunteer [a maybe]
- have better cosplays [take more than one week to throw something craptastic]
- talk to more people and not seem hard to talk to
- shed off baby fat [yeah, I know I don't need to, but still >.<]
- try to make an effort to get to all panels/gatherings on time
- karaoke at least once [been in the room a lot, but didn't go up]
- be street/hall dancers w/ friends as planned. XD
