I am in need of a room! I am 24yo, female, non-smoker and this will be my first year at fanime. I unfortunately was at work during the time when you could signup for hotels here on the site, and my luck hasn't improved when asking friends (their rooms were all full).
I am from the east-coast and do not often make it out west for conventions, however, I wanted to try this year. I have signed up for the artist alley and unfortunately, if I cannot find a room to stay in, it becomes a deal-breaker for me. I really want to go, because conventions are like my vacations, or well, a time to be away from home. (my art can be viewed here if youre curious--> http://vestien.tumblr.com/tagged/art)
I am very respectful, really easy-going, and have no issues with staying in a co-ed room(or sleeping on the floor for that matter). My biggest thing for me is distance, and being a max of about 1mile away from the convention, since I will be walking to and from. I do not have a car and taxis can get a bit expensive, unless sharing (however I will be taxiing from the airport). All I really need other than that is a shower in the morning and a little corner for my backpack. I would love to stay for the whole convention, Friday-Sunday/Monday, and possibly coming on Thursday evening would be great (I can easily change plans and come Friday as my plane tickets have not been bought yet).
So, if you have space to share and are looking for an extra roommate to split hotel costs with, feel free to drop me a line!
