Ok so I was getting asked "when is the next ultimate game night?" ... since the day after the last UGN.
So Here goes....
IT'S OFFICIAL! SET THE DATE FOR JULY 25TH!

TIME: PROBABLY 5PM +
LET'S MAKE THIS ANOTHER EPIC NIGHT
ULTIMATE GAME NIGHT 2.0!!!
What is ULTIMATE GAME NIGHT(UGN)??
well if you're thinking it's about video games You are WRONG!
UGN is about Board games/card games!
It's about interacting with the people around you!
Being social and Having the best laughs!
Last year's UGN was the very first and hugely successful attempt at this.
Jerry was so sweet to open up his home to all these wacky people
and
is sweet enough to have again offered to open up his home.
So here's how it works:
Bring your board games/card games
(make sure they are well marked as yours)
Bring a friend
Bring food!(finger food preferred)
the last one lasted almost all night so bring a sleepover bag if you want to!
But remember

I'm sure there are lots of fantastic memories people have of last year so don't be afraid to share them here as well. I still want to plan when we'll have this so I'm thinking in august like we did before.

well it sounds like theres alot of interest for this. Maybe its time we found a place to have game night, and then work on rides for people. I would love to come, but im in Manteca, but i have my own transportation and possibly can help with transportation for others

Heck, I'm supposed to go down to the Bay 2 or 3 times this summer for personal business. If it falls during any of those times that would be Awesome. :)

I forgot to post this last time: A Dnd 4.0 game sounds fun; however, I doubt many people have existing characters or materials and creating characters takes so much time... I would love to play but I'd need to get a handbook for 4.0 first... I only have a handbook for 2ed and 3ed >.>;

Cool. Now we are getting somewhere lol. In regards to D&D 4.0 I have almost all of the books so Character creation can be done fairly quickly. ALso I Have Characer Builder on my Laptop, so If we has a printer, we can have characters done in a flash. Lets make this work guys!
Jerry I could be wrong but Mike said July 25th may be a date in which all the Rovers are going to have a BBQ @ the beach in Santa Cruz. Just saying.

I have a 4e adventure that is pretty much all ready to go. I even made little tokens for it and painted a few miniatures for the "Boss Characters"

Uno with shots? Everyone starts with ten shots. Every time someone throws a WILD card and changes the color, the next player takes a shot. Any DRAW # cards, that many of players after whoever put it down have to take a shot. The winner is whoever has the most shots left after someone plays their last card.
please note, this is a 21+ game.

I was also thinking of planning a casino night as well (not a real casino) but just for prizes and have cad games like blackjack, poker and roulette but that would be a later date

Lulz, to be honest that wizard was one of Micheal's 'tame' characters.

So, the 4e campaign that I am bringing is actually the first adventure released ([H1] Keep on the Shadowfell) I can bring most everything we'd need for this adventure, if need be. But it is an adventure for 4-6 characters of 1-3 level.
Sounds good, If you need any help let me know. Ive run that particual module several times and still am not tired of it lol. So 4-6 players eh, Well lets see what we can do about that. Also Do you want to make characters at Jerry's Place or bring them?

I had a right fun time playing more mahjong (as expected) and Liar's Dice. Plus I got a little time to rep Weiß Schwarz. I was expecting the thing to last longer, though. Seems like most people split well before midnight!

Yeah, I wish I could have stayed later as well, but thats living in the Valley for ya. Anyway Mad props to Jerry for being a great host and all of the people I met for being really chill and laid back. I do hope to get to know more of you people as friends in the near future.

I had lots of fun playing drunken Cranium. Imagine 10+ people who are drinking trying to answer questions, draw stuff blind folded, act like a famous person, spelling words forwards or backwards, and trying to play sharades...depending on the color you land on. Very fun times. Word of the night: Bungee Jumping.
It was also fun after Cranium we broke the rules and played some Rock Band. After that we all watched some funny videos, including Doctor Horrible! (Which was awesome.)
All in all a great time was had.
P.S. - The burnt Bagel Bites were still tasty! And the jello shots were awesome!
I saw the pictures up on facebook. It looks like it was a lot of fun and tons of people were there. I wish I could have made it. I was actually hoping to get back from my road trip in time to stop by late that night but then we didn't actually get back until around 4am, so that obviously wouldn't have worked.
No worries J9, - between myself, Corak, and now even Stacy and others I'm sure there will be more gatherings soon enough :)

Thanks once again to Jerry for hosting, Sarah(edendreams) for the planning and organizing. I had lots of fun, specially playing the game of life and I hope there'll be another one soon. It was great seeing everyone again as well.

Well, the reason there wasn't any A2A was because everyone that had a copy thought someone else was going to bring their copy... Thus, Hivemind is responsible for the lack of A2A. Bummer.
