We will try the Ichibancon one, since we would be unable to attend that one Q_Q (it looks nice!)

I'll PM you my email. Thanks :D

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  :'(

I hope you're well regardless. Now I need to find something else to do on Monday xD

Could we take the SakuraCon one and have you grade it though.

Fighting off a bad sickness all month, my answers for the quiz are coming along slowwwllly...

So I have a question about #13. When the lyrics go "ya ya ya", I don't see Sora Naegino running in front of a public transportation vehicle. Is the question worded correctly or am I just missing something?

Ideas and Suggestions / Panel Room space
May 04, 2016, 06:37:59 PM
So...there was never a feedback thread for Fanime 2015, so I'm just going to say it now even though it's probably too late.

A lot of panels were put in rooms that were too small. I understand Fanime is growing in number each year, and it's not like Fanime can make the rooms bigger, but maybe think about what panels you are putting in the rooms.

I can think of a lot of panels, but the one that sticks out the most for me is the Ai Nonaka panel.

I think we can all agree that Japanese guests tend to be popular panel.
Ai Nonaka is a great seiyuu.

She was put in one of the smallest panel rooms (panel room 3 i think). I looked into the biggest panel room (panel room 1), and there was waaayyyy less people for that panel than those waiting in line for the Ai Nonaka panel. And it's not because, since it's a bigger panel room, it will be less crowded so it may SEEM like there is less people.

No, there were less people. Ai Nonaka's panel was absolutely full, there were people waiting outside in hopes someone would leave, and there were countless people like me who were just turned away. Ai Nonaka had more people.

Ai Nonaka should've been in panel room 1, and the event in panel room 1 should've been in panel room 3.

Put your popular panels in bigger rooms. That's my suggestion.

I think it's incredibly rude to dismiss a band as "not good enough" just because you have never watched the anime their songs were in.  I've never heard of them either, but they really deserve your respect.  They are our guests after all.  You should always give people a chance.  I didn't know any of Home Made Kazoku's songs last year, but I had an incredibly good time despite it all.

And Raj is a bemani artist (music game company) and has helped made several other songs.  I'm not too sure why they didn't have him play his songs, but I guess no one would really know them.  I was really looking forward to hear his song in Guitarfreaks lol.

Time for my brain to hurt xD I'll invite everyone I know who is going to fanime. And I think people might go with Amazon.

Yeah... what are the chances of ANY of our suggestions being taken into account? With the past few years with guests I NEVER even heard of or are just simply easy and cheap to get. I'm still very cyanical with what guests we're getting this year. How bout people in anime industry NOBODY has a clue who they are? Or maybe we'll get some American voice actors that hasn't even gotten a noteworthy role in an awful long time? In which at that time no one will care as well. Simply from the give past. I have a feeling some of the guests were there JUST to fill in the void. And you know what the funny thing is?

Sacanime gets WAY more and BETTER guests then fanimecon has during the past few years. 2011 was the last year that what I considered Fanime ever had a truly magnificent guest roster. Each year the convention gets bigger but is it getting better? I'm starting to think no. It's been much harder to even get a hotel now and each year I haven't seen many guests that I'm truly excited for. I swear if I don't see any names that many anime fans would know or truly adore. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I liked the guests we had last year.  Just because you've never heard of them, doesn't mean they're awful.  The guest panels I went to were full.

Will you be playing the variation with or without role reveal?

Aye aye sir.  The questions don't get any easier, do they?  I hope your panel gets accepted, because I'll be telling everyone I know to participate when it does xD

Just a few questions though.  I remember you mentioning that the quiz from Sakuracon 2014 is similar to the one in Fanime 2014, but since you're advertising the Sakuracon 2015 one already, does that mean we won't be seeing any similarities on the Fanime 2015 one (assuming it gets accepted)?

And I think you said the Sakuracon quiz is harder than the Fanime one xD is this still true? (plzsayyes)

Thanks!

1. Just your average NEET anime obsessed male
2. Working as a cashier at a bakery
3. Talks in internet language at times
4. It's not about the size! It's about how they fit in your hand!
5. Question everything that's happening in his life at the moment. Who just told me what to do? Why is a NEET working at a job? What is reality?
6. Worlds worst fanservice provider

Yeah, but I also have cosplay gatherings to go to, too.
I'm not bishie, but I try to be attractive and polite to the ladies.
I haven't had a friend who successfully found a date during Fanime (we had one guy who almost did but the fail wingman came and ruined it lol), but I wish you the best of luck xD I always hear cute stories on how people find their boyfriends/girlfriends at Fanime.  I think going to cosplay gatherings is a good idea.  You can find girls who are interested in the same thing as you :)

Thanks again for all your help.

It's Thursday now, and we have no more time to work on the questions.  It seems like we got an answer for all the questions we were able to answer.  As for the ones we don't know...lol.  But regardless, we are finished, and it feels pretty damn satisfying.  As for the other quiz takers who haven't finished, I hope you finish soon.  This feeling of accomplishment is nice xD

Thanks for your reply.

For #36, choice b says "deep under Mount Fuji".  Did you mean directly underneath the mountain or did you mean underneath a layer of Mt. Fuji?

Thanks again xD
