Having no Clue about when Heroes will return to Monday nights... I was getting worried if any new show would be able to pick up my dorky sci-fi fix... and i think i found it:

so basically IGNORE Terminator 3...
and this movie takes place give or take roughly after the events of terminator 2 (give or take some time)
John Conner who ironically is played by Thomas Dekker (he was in the FIRST Season of Heroes... looks like he found a new job quick...)
And if you guys KNOW FireFly/Serenty - then of course you may also recognize the Summer Glau now as the PROTECTOR Terminator aka Cameron.
The premiere of the show aired tonight, but part 2 ( 2hour first episode ) will be on tomorrow Monday night at 9pm.
So far if you're an old school dork of SCI-FI goodness... nothing like a kid who's suppose to be the fate of mankind protected by 2 women (his mom and his hot killer robot)... :D

this feels like its gonna be bad; thats what happens when the writers go on strike, FOX pulls out the stuff that would never have worked.
I dig it, it's a pretty cool show...
This show is actually pretty good, and I'm glad it does away with the Terminator 3 timeline. Terminator 3 was good, but it went against the whole theme of the first two movies. It's also awesome to see Summer Glau back in action.

I saw the first episode months ago when it was leaked on the internet (IN HI-DEF NONETHELESS!!)

but in 2007 vs. 1999 maybe theres a cure? or possible treatment.

there are MORE THAN ONE Killer terminators living among the normal people...
it looks like Summer Glau's (protector terminator aka name Cameron) is VERY special...
possible love interest? who knows a boy could fall in love with his robot (Tin Man) as Sarah calls her. Feels a bit Chobits-ish.
Speculation:
Supposedly the killer terminators have NO IDEA what John Conner looks like
PROBLEM one killer terminator found a Skull of a terminator defeated by Sarah (and future gun 1 shot use)... I'm worried that if the other Killer Terminators scan its memory... then they'll KNOW what John looks like.
That plus John and Sarah live in the 90's...
again even tho we dont think about it... JUST THINK how much technology has CHANGED over less than 10 years?
we didnt have blue tooth, Sync, and freaking GPS EVERYWHERE...
makes me sorta wonder what the next 10+ years will bring?

Actually, the Terminator with the head was the Terminator that got it's head shot off at the bank. When the Terminator's head restarted, the body restarted at the dump and walked all the way to the head, which is why the Terminator body had the head and motorcycle helmet of a dead man on its shoulders. And yes, I do remember that PS9 commercial, it still fr34kin rawks. It's pretty awesome to see another Summer Glau fan. I take it your also a fan of Firefly as well?

Thats how I felt too. If they only had the arm and computer chip from the second terminator, and were able to build off of that, you would think they would have at least attempted to build off the entire skeleton of the Terminator that they just randomly put in a dump. I guess it's better to try and not think these types of things through, sorta like watching DBZ.

Both episodes are on Fox`s website from what the announcer said at the end of episode 2 last night.
I also liked both episodes.I guess Monday night will be it`s regular time slot.I hope there is enough scripts write for 13 episodes since the writers strike is far from being resolved.
dood I <3 terminator and this new series, when I saw th commercials I was like FTW!!! *drool* I loved the terminator movies and this series is kicking some ass. Of course, I am like totaly fangurling on this shtuff.
lol Some things didn't quite add up, but I guess if you totally ignore the movies and watch the series...you'd be fine. ;>.> Afterall that is what the commentary premier/interview whatever you call that show, guy said something like that. It's supposed to tell a story based off the movies, but also have a different twist or something.
They totally revamped the new terminator too. Which is pretty friggen awesome, in my opninion. If I had a place to put things, my hole room would be filled to the max with terminator stuff. (and robocop!) lol

BTW, if you've got iTunes and your system can handle playback of their video files (or can transfer them to an iPod that can), you can get the pilot episode off of there for free (the second and later episodes will cost you though).
I love the show and it's doing a great job without Arnold. Can't wait for season 2.
I loved the show as well. I read that there`s going to be a terminator 4 with Christain Bale as adult John Conner to start filming this year.
