Hey there, I wanted to ask if Fanime Staff from other departments are allowed to compete and win prizes in the Gaming Department. I'm on Staff for BW Ball have been allowed to play in Pokemon card game tournaments in all prior years, but with a higher prize pool this time, I just thought I'd double-check. Thanks!
Yes, FanimeCon staff are allowed to compete in tournaments. The only restriction we have is that the "hosting" department staff cannot enter; if a Games Management person allows a hosting department staffer to join due to popular request, they will be required to defer the prizing to the next qualified contestant.
