Title: Japan Video Games Domestic and Import Games
Post by: Japanvideogames on February 23, 2008, 11:14:41 PM
Hello everyone,

This will be our 2nd Anime Con we have attended as Dealers (my 10th con), and our first time at FanimeCon.

We deal with mostly Domestic games and import games for all current gen (Ps2, Ps3, Xbox360, Wii, NDS, PSP, GBA) and and some last gen systems (Ps1 games and accessories, some Sega Saturn games, Genesis games, Dreamcast games, and Wonderswan games).

We carry systems (Japanese and American Region), anime and game related figures, plushies, toys and apparel. We are very excited to be attending Fanime con this year and are interested to know what our customers are interested in seeing from us. Our Website is
JapanVideoGames.com  (http://www.japanvideogames.com/) where you can see what other goodies we have I may have forgot to mention,
and our  Myspace  (http://http://www.myspace.com/japanvideogames/) keeps up with new releases and news on whats going on with our store, so please feel free to let us know what you would like to see.

Thanks,

Japan Video Games

Otakuapprentice - We have a good amount of copies of the game so im very certain we will have copies over at the con, all psp games are region free, its only psp movies that are region locked. so for games you are good.

Shinsengumi - DJ Max 2 I can say we will have, as for 1 we should have a few there also.

Are you selling the PS2 Magic Slide from your website at fanime as well? I am thinking of purchasing Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix +, but I own an American PS2.

Edit:
Oh, and are you also selling the DS game: Shugo Chara! 3-tsu no Tamagoto Koisuru Joker? I did not see it on your previous list posted.

Please bring anime series related games!  I found out much too late that the DS works with imports and missed out on a lot of games.

I noticed you had Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouc, would love to buy that!
I didnt see the Shakugan no Shana Ds game listed but if you had that I would love to buy it!

We will have magic slides at the expo for both fat and slim ps2s, (for those who do not know, magic slide is a item used to play official import games on your consoles)

Code Geass we will have as for Shugo Chara it sells out quite quickly so we will order some more and try to get it there for Fanime.

note - if there is anything we haven't mentioned you would like to see there please let us know, so we can try to have more in stock so everyone can find what they are looking for.

Clannad we have coming in and out and Kanon I think we only have one.
Tsukihime Melty blood is the game your looking for we always carry that one and there is one fate stay night game.

we will try to have plenty of these for Fanime and whatever else keeps coming out so thanks for the game and suggestions, keep em coming haha.

I'm actually looking for Japanese versions of Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Pearl/FireRed/Leaf Green for GBA. Not sure if it's worth your time, but I'm really interested and am seriously only really looking for -one- of the above 5. Do you think you guys can get it (any of them), and if so what is your price? Thanks!

currently we do not have any of the Japanese Pokemon G9BA games, we do have our owner going to Japan before Fanime so its possible to get one, price would be depending on what he can find it there, and shipping it back to states. same would include earlier questions for Arcana Hearts fighter stick, ill have him keep an eye out and after getting price and shipping the more he ships back cheaper shipping becomes0.

Since you deal in older games (such as Saturn and Genesis) I was wondering if you have in stock or can get ahold of the following?

Gleylancer
Radiant Silvergun
Dragon Force
Burning Rangers
Contra: Hard Corps
Streets of Rage
Cyberbots

Thanks

some of those are possible to get, excluding the rare ones, like gleylancer, Radiant Silvergun and Dragon Force.

Well theres alot of fun ones like gundam seed vs zaft, something in the same area but with some differences is Another Century Episode 1, 2, and 3 featuring mechas from other series.
J
And I havent played U.C. Climax so can't answer that but in general you don't need much Japanese language knowledge to play theses games.

wouldn't know, sadly im not there, won't hear from my guy up there till tues-wed
let me know if you can source me some horis. and how much. :) tekken players need them horis.  ;D

if we do ill let you know asap

Will you be carrying the Freeloader for the Wii (US edition), as well as some import Wii games (i.e. Naruto EX 2, any of the Simple Wii games,  Karous Wii)

Also will you have any of the club nintendo items (Wii Famicom controller, white gamecube controller)

We do have plenty of Wii Freeloaders US versions and they will be there, all the games you mentioned will be there, and we do have the white wii controller as for the famicom one we sell out pretty quick so hopefully we have a large shipment of them this week before fanime.

I'm glad you came and it was a pleasure speaking with you guys. I think your booth was one of the only ones which I really acknowledged. Too bad I wasn't able to afford the Lucky Star game =(. Anyways, come again next year.

haha so you bought the Wii huh, glad we got someone who could appreciate it. We all had fun at Fanime, even with the long drive and if you guys really want us back let us know. I personally got no sleep at all working at the dealers hall, working and running back and forth with the e gaming guys, shopping, An cafe, and using night time to hang out with ppl. Didnt really get to meet to many ppl to hang out with but ill try harder next yr.

If you guys really want us to know you want us back just let us know, with alot of ppl wanting us back, my boss wouldn't dare say no to keep going back to Fanime.

Man I should've bought Ouendan during Fanime, now I'm gonna have to order it online, which isn't bad, but I would've saved on shipping and handling. But still, any game with Kokoro Odoru and Ready Steady Go is instantly cool in my book.
