I've been a big fun of X Japan and Yoshiki since I was 15.
I heard "Forever love" when I was coming home from abroad. I remember thinking to myself, 12 years ago, 'I will never be able to see X Japan live' but I did get to see them when they played at the Fox Theater on Sept 2010 in Oakland, and I fell to tears when they played "Endless Rain." It truly is a dream come true.
Hearing that Yoshiki will be at Fanime brings back good memories and makes me believe again that dreams can be fulfilled, you just have to wait for it.  :)
You were there too?!  Wasn't it amazing?  I had the same thought, I will never be able to see them live.  It will be impossible.  But then, there I was, in the front row.  I too, was moved to tears when we all sang Endless Rain.  Memories I will never forget.  =)

Oh my God...  I can't believe this is happening.  I got to see X Japan in Oakland during their North American tour.  It was the most amazing concert of my life.  I had no idea he was going to be at Fanime!  This just made my day.  Will this be in the schedule?  =D
I was so close to seeing them in Oakland D: but I had no money that day didnt let me go :/
They were amazing.  Enough said.  It was a dream come true.  The best part of the night was when Toshi drank out of a water bottle, then sprayed it on the crowd.  It totally went in my mouth.  I was laughing afterwards, cause I was thinking, "Oh my God!  I have Toshi DNA in me!"  O.O  (Perks of getting to the front...)

Much excitement for Yoshiki

Since he is quite literally a "last minute addition", we're going to figure out where we can fit in his events. Unfortunately, I don't have an estimation of when they will be finalized/added.
Ah, I see.  Well, if you figure it out, please post on this topic.  I'm sure he's going to end up being the most popular thing going on at Fanime now.  XD

This may be just me, but did the price for the full weekend ticket go down?  I remember in 2008, I payed $70 for it I think.  I noticed the same thing last year too.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but it would be nice to know.  =)

Well, I didn't say it exactly like that, of course.  I was just giving an example.  I don't think anybody would hang out with somebody if they said something as creeperish like that.  Of course we talked more before we actually decided to hang out.  =\

Wow...  Fanime is the perfect place to meet new friends.  I am a pretty shy person in general, but I feel completely at home here at Fanime.  I have gone up to many different random people and said, "Hey, you look cool.  Would you like to hang out?" and we have become good friends.  Just the thought that pretty much everybody has so much in common with each other is simply wonderful.  We're all one big family.  =D

Oh, that's good.  I heard from a few people that they weren't going to be doing it this year.  It surprised me, because it's a big part of Fanime.  I was looking all over the Fanime website for any information, but they haven't said anything about it yet.  =(

But thanks for clearing things up for me.  ^_^

Big Event Showcase / Black and White Ball This Year?
April 07, 2011, 06:56:52 PM
Forgive me if somebody else posted it, but I can't find any information about the Black and White Ball for this year's Fanime.  I really hope that they are not going to be doing it this year, because I had one hell of a time.

But if anybody could give me any information about it, that would be great.  Once again, sorry if this question has been repeated.  Thank you!  =)

Plus, the fact that I'm actually INTERESTED in learning it is great too.  =p  I didn't care about that stuff that much until I watched Hetalia.  XD
