I think I might dig out my Chocolate Misu from Bakuretsu Hunter (Sorceror Hunters) for this. (Though Aya from Weiss kreuz would work too. xD) And I might bring along Stormer from Jem for the Thursday gathering.

Since Dark Phoenix didn't make it last year, (too many last minute alterations, and another costume to fix that took precedence) I really think I want to bring her this year, because I have yet to debut the costume for a photoshoot yet.

Personally, I would love to see guests that represent an underappreciated and more unknown side of the anime/game/music industry: the foreigners who work in Japan as translators, composers, lyricists, English vocalists et c. (People like Tim Jensen, Lynne Hobday and Steve Conte...)

To ayame_nguyen:  The policy was consistently no taking pictures or videos so I wonder who told you, at one point, that taking photos would be okay...
While we were waiting in line, two different staff members walked up and down the line and told us that pictures were okay, just no videos, and we should run and get our cameras if we wanted them. And about 15 minutes later, we were told no cameras again, like ayame_nguyen said.

Also, I'm glad that we were able to bring this to you folks (the members). I was really excited when I first got the proof and it was a really nice surprise that not most of our staff didn't know about. ;) Will this happen next year? Maybe. XD

I thought this was a very awesome extra to do for us attendees! Thank you so much. Something like this makes even just the hotel stay more personalised to the Con. It's little touches like this that keeps Fanime one of the best Cons in my mind. Thanks once again, and let's hope you continue to do these keys for years to come.

FLOW again.

abingdon boys school
T.M.Revolution
Acid Black Cherry

and of course:

SIAM SHADE. Get them to re-unite for Fanime. (Ahaha, like that would happen, but a girl can dream, right? I need to see them live again.)

^Were you up front too? I kept getting shoved and pushed around by a reallllly tall sweaty guy. Being 5' tall, it's not so fun. But what can you do, things like that are bound to happen at concerts...Yay for staffffffffff~

I was stuck right behind that guy for most of the concert, and stuck next to his friend who kept pushing people, and his other friend who kept bumping into people, and was hitting people in the face when she started swinging her shirt around on NUTS BANG!!!. And they nearly knocked me over when they put their friend on the second guy's shoulders.

But that was the only bad part, otherwise the concert was amazing (par for FLOW). LOVED that they played Ryusei and Around the World (my sister's favourite song), and was happily surprised they did LUNA (though I had a feeling they were going to) and Sono Saki ni wa... I pretty much expect they won't do my favourite at Fanime (Fuyu no Amaoto) but hope in years to come they will do some of my other favourites (Garden, SOUL RED, Bring it On).

And I was really hoping they would do 1/3. Being a die-hard SIAM SHADE fan I went crazy when the single was first announced (especially after a string of bad covers this winter) and when Takeshi mentioned on the blog that Daita (ex-SIAM SHADE guitarist) was going to help arrange and guest on the single I had double faith it would be amazing. And they didn't disappoint. It is the only good cover of 1/3. (imho) And when it started I went absolutely crazy, screaming my heart out with excitement. And had one of the people near look at me like: 'What is your problem?' I was singing along at the top of my lungs. (Okay, granted, I was doing that with all of the other songs too... XD)

And was so excited to get the sneak preview of their new single HEY! It sounds absolutely amazing. Can't wait for August for it to come out. *heads over to Amazon.jp to see if it's on pre-order yet*

So it was an amzing concert, just like last year, and I certainly hope they come back again next year! Now my next goal is to get back over to Japan to see them live there.

*deep breaths*

I am very glad FLOW is coming back again. They were awesome last year, and this year I will actually be there for more than one day, so I should be able to attend the Q&A as well.

Since they are still my favourite active band (and second favourite band of all time.)

A little late, but this is FLOW's 2011 new year message. :D
It was basically  a FanimeCon-centric message, so watch it everyone~

At 00:58, it's subbed as "We hope to get to perform at anime conventions again too!"
Except, he actually said FanimeCon...
So. Yes. Watch it now.

I really hope they come back to Fanime this year.

That was great, thanks for sharing!

I don't see anything about fridges on the fanime hotel list, but if you check each hotel's website, they usually list it.

The Sainte Claire says they have mini-fridges in select rooms, but everyone I have talked to who stayed in it previous years said they had a mini-fridge in their room. :)

And now for a real longshot: DETROX.

It'll never happen, but I would LOVE to see them live.

Cool!

I should have my Dark Phoenix done from a Con earlier in the year, so I may just bring it to wear to this  :D

I would also love to see Orange Range.

QuoteOrange Range would be really awesome to have, but aren't they on hiatus or something?  I know the original drummer left, but have they already found a replacement?  Well, if MusicFest staff can manage to get them, I sure wouldn't disappointed.

OR's drummer left in 2005, and they haven't gotten an official replacement.  No hiatus for them though, as they released a new single and a singles album in July and are planning a tour for the Fall/Winter.

MICROCOSM is awesome!  (Got my preorder in the post yesterday!)

I suggest checking it out if you get the chance.

CALLING, Sign and FREEDOM of course are great, and I really enjoyed Soul Red and UNION.

I would certainly love FLOW to come back!

In addition to that:
ORANGE RANGE
abingdon boys school and/or T.M.Revolution
UVERworld
Acid Black Cherry

It's a little article that we did on the show at Fanime.  Yay for concert photos.  I had a lot of fun shooting this show.
Yay!  Awesome article and photos.

Brings back such good memories of the concert.  I can even replay it in my head XD

Freedom is a really good song~
Its from their newest single (not album) CALLING.

It will also be on their new album, MICROCOSM, coming out in the middle of this month.

I was really satisfied with the FLOW concert. Though, I wasn't really energetic as other fans because about 90% of the concert, I was trying to see the stage, because of very tall people blocking the singers D: So my friend thought I wasn't a big fan of them, but I'm a HUGE fan. I wasn't jumping and stuff because I was trying to see the stage, jumping won't help for me, because the tall people in front of are jumping as well, so I can't exactly jump over them LOL. But, with the chances I was able to see, I had a really good time :] I really hope they'll come again soon ^_^

@Runewitt :
OMG! You got a picture WITH them?!? @_@ You're so lucky D:

I was one of those tall people (5'8" female).  Sorry  :-[

Glad you had a good time despite it though^_^
