Hello~

I guess you could call me a first-timer in cosplay. Never really made my own costume before. >_>;

So, I'm planning on cosplaying Dell Honne (voyakiloid). Fairly easy.

Now, I don't have a sewing machine. D: Been having trouble convincing my parents on buying one. I have the money, but I'm quite the money hoarder T~T

I will most likely buy the shirt and pants. Pants, easy. Shirt, have to find the perfect shade.

I might have to make the purple tie if I don't find one. I might use one of my old Fanime badges for the badge ^^ Just paint the lanyard black.

The trouble is, the WIG, CONTACTS, CIGARETTE, SHOES, BELT/SUSPENDER, and HEADSET. I am also on a budget here (student, no paying job).

- Where can I get a cheap wig for Dell Honne? I guess it would be described as medium long boy cut white/silver hair. Any stylists around, or how I can learn to style on my own? I also need to gather the necessary supplies like a metal comb and a wig stand.
- Cheap red contacts lol. Willing to pay up to $25/pair.
- Can buy fake cigarette. Fake cigs allowed at convention/hotels?
- Either buying the real cosplay shoes (expensive!) or preparing shoe covers.
- Belt/Suspender I would say is difficult since I don't know what materials I should use and I don't have a sewing machine.
- Headset! I will either buy a real headset and decorate it or make molds around the parts I need to change, or make a paper version like my friends have done before (skeptical about paper, though).

Please let me know if you have suggestions on where I can buy stuff and also on how I should make some of the parts. Thanks!
Here is my reference:

I don't think there's ever been a time where I didn't recognize(at least in base) what anything was in anime. And I don't think I learned what any kind of food was from, coming from anime.

"These donuts are great!"
LULZ. :D

I went to this Sailor Moon panel at AOD this year...same thing with SM. They called pork buns "donuts" in the English dub. xD So glad I learned that they were pork buns in the end.

just wondering, will he most likely be performing and having the signing on the weekend part (sat. & sun.)?
because i have school on friday YnY

If there are two artists for MusicFest this year (;), then it'd probably be
Friday: Concert
Saturday: Q&A + Autograph Session
Sunday: Concert
Monday: Q&A + Autograph Session
like it was last year...

I'm a new attendee to Fanime, but when will MusicFest be and where will Yuya-san be meet-and-greeting/autograph with the audience?

I heard that it was in the Civic Auditorium, but isn't that some place away from the Convention Center???

Sorry for my newbiness, been screaming "KYAAAA" since the announcement!

The concert will be across the street from the convention center, not far at all! As for the Q&A+Autographs, it'll probably be held in one of the rooms in one of the two hotels adjoined to the convention center (Hilton or Marriott)

=_= I'm so excited I'm not sure what to do with my giddiness right now. XD

Don't forget to wish him a Happy Belated Birthday! His 21st b-day is on May 24, just a few days before Fanime.

YEESSSS! I realized that yesterday night myself, of course, that gives us the incentive to give him presents...Which leads me to a question of my own...Will there be a bin for gifts to give him? I liked being able to do that last year..

I second this! LOL

Chifunii, I want your help to make a b-day present for him >.< 先輩おねがい!Q.Q Can we make one together? T.T And....are you camping out? xD Maybe I'll join you :P

---------------

Dundundunnn...well now that I know the concert's Saturday...most likely the Q&A/Autographs will be on Sunday?
Uhhh...I'm guessing no Meet&Greet like there was for An Cafe LOL

HAHA the ticket thing for An Cafe was quite the experience, but the ticket was a really good souvenir anyway! ^.^ The ticket was PINK! lol.

MusicFest staff, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! <3
>w<

Wow, good job with the first guest! Perfect for us DRRR! cosplayers! Maybe I'll show up to it as Celty?  ;D

I know I'll be showing up to it as Kida. :3
You think this'll up the amount of cosplayers for our little group?  ;)

I'm thrilled that Musicfest staff got someone who's really anime-related. That's all I wanted.
Hmmm...maybe I should cosplay DRRR! too. Let me know if you are lacking a certain character.
...but first, I gotta finish the anime D: Currently on ep5.

I WUV YUYA MATSUSHITA!!!!松下優也!! <3
Can someone tell me where I can watch this Kuroshitsuji musical?? :D

67
ARASHI! Is this too crazy a request :P

Ahahaha, do you even have to ask? xDDD
I'd love to see them someday though, KIS-MY-FT2 as well..
^ this is coming from an Arashi uber-fan. Hence the response.

I am no way affiliated with MusicFest and not part of staff...but I want to make a list of tallies for each request ; _ ; maybe I have no life/simply bored/love MF too much. Does anyone want me to volunteer to make a list or just not waste my time doing MF's job... D:

So if you are chosen to be a maid, you still have to buy your entrance badge beforehand. Am I correct?

What happens if a maid has an emergency and suddenly needs to drop out? Penalties to the maid or the staff will somehow figure it out?

Does Maid Cafe ever get under/overstaffed? I don't even know if this is important to me. It's more concerning to the staff :-/

I'm not much into SNSD...they're ok, but too feminine >.< I can see why they would have a lot of male fans haha! As stupid as it sounds, I was considering auditioning for these Korean entertainment agencies...but I'm afraid that if I were to make it big, I would get a lot of unwanted attention o_o;
The cute feminine image does help them. :)  Another reason why I listen to them and not other korean pop artist(who actually show alot more booty) is because SNSD sound more upbeat pop than R&B.(almost every korean group seems to be R&B) Just my personal taste.

I heard if you are a part of a korean entertainment agency, you are pretty much their property.  Not sure to what extent though.
I noticed SNSD are more pop, too. Oh! xD

I've heard of the property thing, too. Apparently SM's contracts last for 13 years O.o;. Exactly why JYJ filed a lawsuit against SM. YG contracts are 5 years, which is reasonable...and probably a bit more relaxed.

I really want to try camping out in line in the future...impossible for me right now. :[
J-Rock artists really do love food and photography >w< they always put up pictures of what they're eating on Twitter xD or they put a picture of the weather, whether it is good or bad...

Sounds fun! I've never been to Fenton's before...but it's too far for me. I can't drive or travel on my own, either. Maybe I'll go check it out with my family some other day.

There are a LOT this year. Not just Fanime's musicfest, but also:

YOU&JIN in LA
Wonder Girls&guest2PM@SF '10
Miyavi @ SF '10
D'espairsRay @ SF '10
VAMPS @ SF '10
Dir En Grey @ SF 9/9/10
SMTown '10 in LA

and so...let's discuss! I was not allowed to go to any of the above. Only Fanime(LM.C & FLOW). So I also want to know what you guys did and what kinds of goods they had. I want to die for some concert goods right now.

Haven't finished watching the series, but I would maybe say Coffee Prince.
Coffee Prince is good, isn't it? Everyone has told me to watch it, but I didn't finish it ( I only watched the first episode ).
