Mrr.  I'm neutral on this music release.  Doesn't really have much of an effect on me in this case because I don't like PuffyAmiYumi.  If it starts to spread into Jrock..as long as the groups I love don't start pandering themselves to American audiences at the expense of their music, I'm fine with it.  But..yeah.  I have reservations.

Wolf's Rain is what I've been watching most recently, despite the craptacular opening song XD Beautiful animation and scenery, it's gotten me hooked now and I'm having to bug my friend to send me another CD ^^ I'd recommend it.  Lovely animation, good storyline and interesting characters.

Sooo..I have no idea and I figured someone here might have some advice.  I've got a limited (500) edition copy of the first book of Kia Asamiya's Dark Angel series that was autographed and drawn in, and I'm wanting to sell it but I have NO idea how much to ask or where to start the price at on Ebay.  Can anyone here help? ^^;; I'm sort of clueless when it comes to manga other than the WK stuff.

Woo!  It's an orgy of polls and stuff!  Or something XD Anyhow, what are your five favourite songs from anime? (Not games, that'll come another time!).

For me, in no particular order:

"Aoi Hitomi" from Escaflowne - I love this song.  The simplicity and the quality of the voice (it's Sakamoto Maaya, I think) make it something incredibly beautiful.

"Just Communication" from Gundam Wing - Damn it, this song gets stuck in my head so easily that I have to put it here.  I'm never sure WHY I like it so much, I just..do.  It's odd.

"Gessekai" from Night Walker - It's Buck-Tick.  Buck-Tick are among the gods of Jrock.  This song is godlike.  Atsushi has a godlike voice.  Are we seeing a pattern in the descriptions here? XD

"Kiseki no Umi" from Record of Lodoss War - Another one where the voice just gets me.  It's a beautiful song and I dig the chanting parts, they go amazingly well with the singing in my opinion.

"Brain Damage" from Weiß Kreuz - Ha!  I managed to shove aside my love of WK's music enough to just put one song on here!  Anyways, this one ranks among my favourites from that series just because it's sort of sexy, weird chorus or not.

*kicks Yamaguchi out of there and replaces with herself XD*

Have you *seen* Midorikawa sama's hair at Anime North?! Kyaa~ It was a disaster!

It's sad that I'm missing sooooo many Weiß songs (by the group and from the series).

I have the TV soundtrack, instrumental CD and a good portion of the songs from all the drama CDs, so if there's anything you're looking for I'd be happy to send it to you ^^

XD the first time I saw Shin'ichiro-sama I knew that he was Yohji's seiyuu even though I couldn't read the chara names in the article they had pictures of all the WK seiyuu in.  It just..fits..I mean, look at him!

First was Kudou Yohji of Weiss Kreuz.  Nooo question about that.  And he remains in my harem, one of the few anime boys who does among a sea of Jrockers XD He's sexy both in attitude and looks with a sprinkling of bishie angst thrown in, and he obviously has a good way with the ladies ~.^  Mrrr..currently capturing my interest is the yummy Count D of Petshop of Horrors.  Mysterious.  Sexy.  Likes candy.  I appreciate all of those things!  No doubt he'll be standing beside Yohji soon in the Tendai Harem Lineup.

List the Weiss/Schwartz boys in the order you like them! Mine are:

Oookay..Going JUST by the original series and not counting Gluhen.

1.  Yohji - Is and will always be my favourite for every reason that it is possible for Yohji to be someone's favourite.  And people who badmouth Shin'ichiro-sama will have to answer to me XD because he CAN sing, damn it.
2.  Schuldig - Schu kicks ass.  He is everything that a sexy villain should be.  Rowrrrr.
3.  Aya - Angsty.  Sexy.  And voiced by my seiyuu god.  There is no more to say.
4.  Crawford - See what I wrote for Schu ^^
5.  Nagi - Honestly, Nagi's one of my favourites.  In my world, Schu/Aya/Crawford are tied for second and Nagi should be third.  I love the humanity they gave him.
6.  Farfarello - YIYIYIYIYIYIYI!  Farfie kicks ass but is, in the end, my least favourite of the Schwarz boys.
7.  Omi - Omi.  Stop whining.  No one cares about your father.
9.  Ken - Meh, Ken's always been so blah for me.[/b][/code]

I'm sort of happy it was just the last few - if it had been sooner, I would have been irritated by the changes even longer XD and damn right.  Nagi = teh s3xx0r.

They could make a better dub that WK using castrated zombies.  I think it's actually impossible for there to be a WORSE dub.  *hns!* But the outtakes from the English dub are damned funny, at least.

At least Schu's hair and face look VAGUELY the same.  I've a friend who's close to killing someone over what they did to Crawford.

*stomps up and down on Project Weiss for not paying Tsuchiya-sama royalties for her designs and losing the rights for them!*

And more thoughts on charas and other things after getting last defective VCD replaced:

Omi - Still whiny and overdramatic.  I still wanted to slap him at times especially during the scene right before they go to face Epitaph.  "I have chosen to live as Takatori Mamoru"..blah blah blah.  Okay kid.  We all know you have an identity crisis.  Now just choose a name and personality and stick with it.

Fight between Yohji and Aya - Loved it.  Something I'd seen in my head for a while made real.  Wonderful ^^

Crawford - Uh..okay.  Blond.  Monocle.  Is it just me or is he trying to become a rural British nobleman?  Bad, bad, bad.  As much a travesty as Yohji's redesign was.

Schuldig - Wow..he looks like a badly dressed Top who's about to go into a particularly flamboyant gay bar.  It must be the idiotic hat - reminds me of the ones I saw at Folsom before.

Farfarello - Didn't get a close enough look >< But he looked..odd.

Nagi - Eeeh Nagi got sexy!  Sure, he has Due le quartz-esque sweepy hair over the eye, but I can deal with it cause mmm!  I like him!  And I think they got his attitude right.

and..

The Rosenkreuz team - Sexy.  Evil.  Everything that Schwarz was in the original and isn't in this series.  Belga's voice is yummy, as is Belga himself.  I want one.  The girl reminds me of a mix of Farfie and the little girl who speaks in the beginning of Berry by Dir en grey.  The pyro guy I didn't really have an opinion on.

Now to wait for episode 13 from my friend Yil.  I swear, if Yohji is actually dead I'm locking myself in my room and never coming out *gr!*

XD that's what makes them super-duper assassins - they can turn the angst on and off at will? ~L~

Yay! XD And a gay computer isn't odd at all!  Poor Duo-Emiru here has multiple personalities brought on by the fact that I couldn't decide which name to give him and smacked both on there.

I think it makes more sense to have it hit them in random times rather than have them angst constantly - many people deal with pain/anger/whichever by ignoring it until it becomes waaay too strong and sort of explodes and I always thought that people in their positions would have to do that as a simple matter of survival.  Constantly-angsting assassins would be dead assassins, ne?  It's logical in my head that they express that sort of randomly because constant emotional turmoil would make them less effective.

As for the weapons thing, I'm of the opinion that they gave Yohji wire solely for the scene where he's strangling Neu over his back ~L~ But I actually read a piece once where someone went into the deeper significance of giving each Weiss member their respective weapons and it made a lot of sense.  I had it saved on Kyo, my old computer, though, so I lost the link when his harddrive crapped out on me.  I do remember that one of the things they went into about Yohji's weapon was how the killing method it was based off of (garotting) was something that was used on dishonourable females often at some point or something like that o.O It's been two years since I read this thing so I'm probably misremembering.

I would say watch it Jessa ^^ I was the same way, but..so long as you don't go through it comparing to the first, it's actually pretty good.
