Ill prolly think about attending when reg opens up again! I'm also waiting on news bout am2 and ax. I Miighhtt go to those next year if not fanime >.<

Hii! I'm not sure if I'm going next year yet until I hear news about improvements! Fanime was fun but I was still a bit disappointed. I might go just to see you guys :)

Hotel: Marriott

Would I book it next year? Might wanna try Saint Claire but only because I just wanna try something new :)

Pros: staff was really friendly and helpful. The housekeeping cleaners were super on point! Would really stay again because I trust their cleanliness! The hotel staff assisted me in every way possible and helped me out greatly on my requests. Room is also very nice and bathroom is pretty spacious and our floor was pretty quiet :)

Cons: elevator issues as everyone knows. I don't know what took 20 years to get on an elevator so after attempting on Friday I gave up and just walked the stairs for the rest of the con. Thank goodness I was on one of the lower floors >.< I also wish they provided complimentary fridges or microwaves or something! I was also pretty upset with check in. The front staff needed to have a credit card on hand to check in instead of just taking my cash deposit? I thought they automatically charged it to the credit card account when fanime sent in the rooms data. I don't own a credit card and had to call my friend to leave work to check in for me. I might not stay because of this last year.


Special notes: all in all The Marriott was a pleasant stay. Room service was very fast!

I'm pretty interested! Just gotta see if my budget has room for one of them :)

It would be nice to have random meet ups if possible but i think some of us live a bit far away.

I just like to give everyone that showed up a big Thanks and high 5. I'm glad to have meet you guys even if it was just for a few hours, it felt like we known each other for ages.

For those that did/could not make it, let's try again next year.

Hopefully next time we won't have problems on day 0 and the schedule could come out earlier. That should give us more time to actually plan a proper meet up.

I'm so sad.... yesterday my group leader couldn't get it cause he had work and the lines were super down and today we tried but he got off work late. This fanime i feel is so sad for me :(

i called in a few days earlier and marriott hotel said they will allow early check ins but only if the room thats fit for your needs is available early. they said you can try calling around 10 am and theyll let you know if your room is available for early check in... i normally check in early every year though, but i normally check in on fridays.

im gonna be super busy before 4 and then theres a 9pm panel i wanna go to on friday. I'm pretty good for 10 and after for like an hour or 2 or anytime between 4 and 9. Haven't checked out the anime schedule though.... but for saturday ill be prettyyy busyyy until like maybe after musicfest! sunday i have most of my day open :)

hey you guys! ive never been to day 0 before and i was wondering if i line up between 6 and 730, normally how long would the wait be? Most likely ill get there around 7 though

Omgs! i also wish my fanimeness would start as early too! sadly my profesor just announced that we have a midterm on friday like yesterday so im gonna be cramming also after the meet up thursday! i jsut called in to get a day off from work soi i can finish all my hw and studying stuff up!

But any who, should we just start planing with out it and wing it? or should we make a mad dash on day 0 and just keep looking at this thread during the con for plan updates and what not.

What! So suckiess! I have tons of things to do Friday so if its after 5 I can meet up for a bit until 7 I have a possible birthday dinner then fanime dance for like an hour at 10 or so :/
