We actually went over the restricted time limit for the gathering. Apparently Fanime staff had limited gathering times to only 30 minutes. There were people telling the photographers to hurry up.

The gathering started three minutes early or so. Wasn't that early. I was wondering why we cut it so quickly, I didn't realize there was a time limit. That freaking sucks.

I'm trying to figure out if I want to go to the gathering as Izaya or Aoba..... -ponder-

Yeah with L. I'm super super SUPER anal about cosplay, so I would have to get more makeup to cover my eyebrows and sticky sandals so I can walk with the illusion of being barefoot. But I didn't end up going on that track.

Damn this year is not agreeing with me. Still bringing Izaya but I might have to put everything else on hold. Freaking sucks.

I wouldn't use wood glue. Wood glue and duct tape or something around the outside helping support it.

Not sure if that's right, but you just stated not to use wood glue, then advocated using it.

Anyway, duct tape makes things look "last minute" shoddy, and it is VERY hard to paint over it. I would refrain from using it unless you have to. Wood glue when sanded down bonds items tightly together and is easily painted over.

I forgot to say "just' wood glue. And this is going inside for a support so who cares if it looks shotty?

Solution to problem one. Get PVC and put a thick dowel inside of it if you are worried about it bending. you can cover the hole at the bottom with cheesecloth and hot glue
#11
you can make a replica out of wood. Or shaping PVC pipes with a heat gun.

Eboni, are you talking about the Mika Harima cosplayer?

..... hm....................... I'll think about it.

Heeroyuy135 You failed to kill Shizu-chan for me. I'm very disappointed in you. I don't think we can have breakfast anymore.

What he does is he pulls the brim down to his hairline in the back and the brim in the front to his hairline in the front and it creates a slum look in the back.

Oh thank you so much! I think I'll try attaching it to my foot first. Those kind of sandals are very uncomfortable. Thank you! <3

Question. What does 'shoe' mean? I mean if it just has a sole is it considered a shoe?
Example, if I get flat thong-sandal and cut off the thong part and some how attach it to my foot to make it look like I'm barefoot, would that count against the rules?

LastExile. I'm sure that's a lie. You're working hard and that's what counts
