Gaming / Magic: the Gathering Draft tournament?

I'd be in. Although I've never done a TTT before, I have done countless TTP's on MTGO.

Wow, I remember vectoring that over a year ago... It's an honor to know that it's still in use.

Quote from: "Otakuya"I also remember seeing the guys from OCE moving the arcade machines to their places and turning them on. Don't know if it was playable yet (+ no change machine).

Last year, the arcades were set up for people to play. Unfortunately, the change machines weren't there yet. :P

Hmmm... Thanks for the heads up. I'll need to get some quarters beforehand then. It would be nice to get some execution practice in on the sticks/buttons they'll be using.

Quote from: "atan134340"too bad there's no Arcana Heart or Accent Core

are all the 2D fighters gonna be one quarter per match?

From various sources I've heard it will be 2 quarters. However, that was during previous Fanime's.

410KB [Original (789KB)]

I should probably change it some time soon, but it's Matsuri so...

Expect to see me on this. XDDDDDDDDDDD

Is it Ver. B?  Either way, I'll take what I can get.

Also, perhaps wishful thinking, but what are the chances that SJSU can get the game for the fall semester?  I know at least a handful of people, myself included, who would put some good money into a MBAC machine.

QFT. SJSU needs this machine.

As much as I love slash, I have never had the chance to play MBAC on an actual arcade machine. I will definitely be on this machine a good portion of the time that I am at Fanime, rest assured.

And just to re-iterate, version B would be ridiculously awesome, but, like Tsubasa, I'll take anything I can get.

Thanks again for bringing this game to Fanime.

Add to that the fact that, AFAIK,there hasn't been any official word as to the specific arcade machines being provided by OCE either...

My recommendation would be to get both Accent Core and Slash as not many people have much experience in playing AC. There would be a better chance of really good matches if Slash was present, but if it would be possible to swing both machines, that would be the best of both worlds.

Edit: And I know this is a long shot, but an MBAC ver.B cabinet would be quite awesome as well.

Gaming / Would you come to a LAN Party?

I'd be up for this idea. Although someone would be required to provide a wireless router + switch (for those without wireless cards)...

I assure you, no hunting was involved.

As for the contextual errors and bad QC action, would it hurt to share them? I am in no way saying that the english used in the subs is perfect, but we try.

If you have a valid issue, bring it up.

Quote from: "Tsubasa"I'm ruling out yesy because I've never thought their translation quality to be that good.  Passable, but not good.
If it was anyone else, I would not have registered just to reply. I never thought you'd say something like that without backing it with some hard evidence.

Dave, if you've found anything wrong with yesy's translation, we do have a thread for that sort of thing on our forums. Misora and KA are more than willing to discuss any concerns about the translations provided.
