Bit of a small/quick question.

In terms of OCs, does this mean OCs who are wrestlers or OCs dressed as existing wrestlers?

Good to see people keeping the Marvel gathering tradition going.

I would imagine that there are two possible options:

a) Wearing some kind of skin colored bodysuit underneath
b) Wearing the costume during the evening when there are less children around

Though since you did mention that you are making the bra part larger and altering the bottom, I think you might be okay either way without going into either option.

Less than a month to go, can't help but feel excited

UPDATE (3-26-19):
As for the "Unofficial" tag in the title, that was a goof-up on my part. Basically, was discussing with people on Facebook that noticed that there was no Marvel gathering submitted yet. After some discussion earlier in the day, we did agree that we should try to get one submitted. As I submitted mine after getting home from work, I noticed that the person that I was speaking with sent the submission first.

Due to this, I am considering to have this as a bit of an "unofficial" gathering for those that might not be able to attend the official gathering (we both submitted for different days). Even with this, both the first organizer and myself did reach out to help each other out in terms of the gatherings.

Now we all wait in a bit of a limbo to see what happens with the gathering department in this situation.

I'll be there as Harley from the movie Suicide Squad. It's not comic, but still DC. Does that matter? If it does then I'm crashing. ;D

Doesn't matter if it is from the comics, movies, tv, as long as it is DC.

2.5 months, hopefully everyone is getting those final touches done on the cosplays

[DC Comics Cosplay Gathering 2019]

We're back for 2019!

Time for the usual spiel with each new year...

2018 looked to have gone pretty well even after a bit of miscommunication that happened due to some confusion on the location (that I'll take responsibility for in terms of unexpecting how things would turn out). Even with that, still glad with how positive things turned out and the turn out. Note list with the shooting order ended up working and I'll roll with it again.

With that there are a few other things to announce:

1) This ended up being one of those rotation year moments happening as this will be one of those years where I'm not doing a DC costume this year. However, I'll still be around to help run things.

2) Another Change of location, this time tying to go with a bit of an easier to locate spot and to go with the expected manageable numbers for 2019

3) Time I'm going to be a bit flexible, but at the moment the three options applied for were:
Saturday 11AM
Saturday 1PM
Saturday 3PM

The reason for the flexibility is that it depends on when the Marvel gathering is taking place (dressing up for that one). So day and/or time may change depending on how things fall.

With all of that out of the way.....

DC Comics Cosplay Gathering 2019

Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering/Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

Was going to wait for the form to be available before posting (have ran the DC gathering the past few years) though I'm also waiting to see if there is any updated info on a Marvel gathering (not cosplaying DC this year but cosplaying Marvel)

Got to say that I really appreciate all the hard work you guys in the Cosplay Gathering department do. The only downside is rather minor (lack of megaphones) but thankfully the location that we were gathered at made the need for one unnecessary. Any other faults at the gathering were on my end but the staff person that was sent to take photos for the DC gathering was helpful and pretty understanding after we called a slight audible on location shooting (when we saw most of the people at the gathering decided to group up at the snake statue and discussed the situation at hand, deciding to go with shooting near the statue instead).

Did love the addition of the gatherings list in the both the pocket guide and in the main guide, along with the map showing where each gathering spot was located. Hoping that it is implemented again for next year.

Many thanks again for all of the hard work you guys put in making the cosplay gatherings as smooth as possible for us.

Sunday - This one is a little hard to describe. Technically I was dressed as my female OC/alter-ego/drag side/whichever label you would like to use.
