You're example of "Chronic Crusade" is a bad example as it sounds nothing like "Chrono Crusade". Kannaduki and Kannazuki can sound similar. And no, I don't care how someone else pronounces it as long as they aren't pronouncing  KannaFUki no Miko or making up their own crap. Hell, I can say Coco Crusade, Comic Crusade etc etc. But I'm not making things up. As I said, stop getting so technical and tring to sound right. It's not that big of a deal what someone else wants to call if they happen to be told the wrong thing and got used to seeing it and writting it that way.

The difference between Chrno Crusade and Chrono Crusade is negligable for our purposes. You pronounce them the exact same way. You said you PRONOUNCE "Kannazuki" as "Kannaduki." You have specifically stated that you do not simply romanize it that way, you PRONOUNCE it that way. This is an incorrect pronunciation. It changes the word. This is like me (or better yet, someone from japan) pronouncing Chrono Crusade as "Chronic Crusade"

I did read what you said and it sounded a bit offensive to me. Now if you want to come back and respond this way rather than calling it a misunderstanding, then you're the one who needs to calm down.

To be honest about the pronounciation. I don't say Kanna"DEW" Ki no Miko. It's almost like a mix but it soundsmore like a "DEW" when I say it with a "ZU" sound. The accept it or not part is in general of whether either some people accept how it's said or not in different ways whether they want to get technical with this or not. I personally say Kannaduki no Miko.

I'm gonna say this to people who are thinking about responding to this joker to re-think if they really do that... not because he's right, but because he thinks he's right when he sounds like someone who does not know what he is talking about. Yeah, the name change is one of those things you need to either accept or whatever and you see it in other things like Kannaduki no Miko vs Kannazuki no Miko.

However, one thing I'm not accepting is the name change of Utawarerumono to Chronicles of the Shadow Warrior which they thankfully changed back...@__@

Well, I don't give what jp says since I'm an Anime reviewer and I KNOW those are not what they should be. ANN and AnimeNFO or even Wikipedia will have random people add whatever genre they want when they have no clue what they are talking about. For example, ANN has about 75% of everything shonen. Now tell me.. huh?

And comedy is perfect for people who are just getting into Anime. Personally, watching something that is carefree is perfect for someone who doesn't know how to experience this sub-culture first hand. I don't recommend people jumping into Ergo Proxy, Texhnolyze, or Boogiepop Phantom for their first Anime....

Uhhh... all those suggestions(except for Kino's) is sorta bad for people just getting into JP cartoons to watch. Since they're full of cultural nuances that US people won't understand(especially Lain and Haibane).

Kino's isn't really philosophical... persay.

Comedy- Almost all comedy series aren't for people just getting into JP cartoons. All of them are far too cultural and/or random for most people to even attempt to get. I suggest starting off with romantic comedy stuff first
Romantic Comedy- Ah My Goddess, Shuffle, Video Girl Ai, DNA^2, Abenobashi
Action-Black Lagoon, GITS, City Hunter
Mecha-Gundam... all of them, Eureka Seven, Mazinger, Getta Robo
Horror- Monster, Jigoku Shoujo(though this will go over a lot of people's heads if they don't know much about Japanese culture and mentallity)
and then the big "other"- Mushishi(which was probably one of the best, if not best series of 2006),

Shoujo-
Magical Girl-Sailor Moon, Wedding Peach, Hime-Chan no Ribbon, etc.
Romance-Fruits Basket, Alice Gakuen(one of my favorite series)
Comedy- Again... not good to start with comedy but... Gals!(Super Gals), Joushikousei
Action/Other-Yami No Matsui, Petshop of Horrors, Angel Sanctuary

I could give better lists and examples, but these are just off the top of my head that I could think of real fast that isn't too culturally based for US readers.

I'd like to say that I do not think Mushishi  is a horror....at all. I do not remember any episode to be "horror like". Maybe to little kids but I think Mushishi would be somewhere in the "Adventure" genre.

Pet Shop of Horror also has no real action to make it be part of the Action genre. I think it belongs more in the Horror and Mystery genre.

I think some of the stuff needs to be catagorized better but whatever. I don't think you completely grasp the concept of what a genre is. Not tyring to break you down but it seems you have no clue what you are talking about.

Well, Princess Nine was kind of in between and I don't CARE WHAT ANN HAS IT UNDER!...lol..

You have the shonen aspect of hotblooded baseball action. Then you have the shoujo part of girls owning the living days out of male players in games showing some sort of superiority.

I don't think it would target one way or the other. Guys can watch this for the baseball and the girls can watch the guys getting their ass beat in baseball.... so yeah. Nuff said on this matter.

Anyways, I watched 5 episodes and it's about as cliche as you can imagine. It had a kickass OP song though and that's about it. It looked so much cooler too...=(

I watched the Anime and read a little bit of the Manga and I'd have to admit the Manga is better in comparision. In un general regarding the Anime, it was alright.

God I wish this would come out quicker. Shinkai is going to be big.

I watched like 3 episodes and it was pretty decent. Need to catch up. But FF XII is owning my soul right now.

Hmm.... PoT eh? I've seen a few and I don't think it's half bad. Maybe people are judging too quickyl that it might get worse later on if that's what you mean?..
