I called the hyatt this morning. they said that fanime hasnt given them the list of people staying there yet but they should be receiving them either monday or tuesda. strange since the day to make changes with hotel directly was the 20th

has anyone gotten a confirmation number from the hotel itself?
last year i got an update email from CMR with the confirmation number issued by the hotel. I have yet to receive one

I wanted to create a group badge pick up for me and my friends, so I emailed support to do it but I was told it was they couldnt do it at this point. NOWHERE in the reg FAQ stated that there was a deadline for creating a group reg for badge pick up. I was able to create a group reg last year a week before con. I cant login anywhere to add additional members as well

I have a question, can you sing the songs in English ?

I think the rules say that if its an english adaption of a japanese song for the series it comes from then its ok. if its fanmade then its not allowed

if i remember the rules correctly, vocal tracks are fine because they will use vocal dampening if it has vocals in it
out of curiosity lyrics are allowed righ? does it get you extra points or something for not using lyrics? because from what i see from youtube footage from the contest i dont see anyone using lyrics

I got interested in fatal frame II watching markiplier play :p. the ending theme was so strong and beautfiul :C
i got the game on psn a couple weeks ago. except im a huge coward to keep playing XD

im a big fan of BoA and hearing masayume chasing got me to binge watch the ENTIRE series from episode 1 to current season :D
i think i settled on a song for the finals. im gonna go with Chou from Fatal Frame II

Monty Oum has passed awayOur friend, inspiration and co-worker Monty Oum passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:34 PM surrounded by people who loved him very much. Ten days ago Monty suffered a severe allergic reaction during a simple medical procedure that left him in a coma. Although he fought bravely, his body was not able to recover. During his time in the hospital he was well cared for and never in pain at any time.

Monty is survived by his wife Sheena, his father Mony, his brothers Woody, Sey, Chivy and Neat, and his sisters Thea and Theary, as well as a countless number of fans and friends. We were so proud to be a part of his life and we will miss him greatly.

Your generosity during the hours after the public statement on Friday will help his family deal with the costs of his care and his passing. You made an incredible difference during a difficult time and we cannot thank you enough.

As for honoring Monty, we will do that in our own way. In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that you simply do something creative. Use your imagination to make the world a better place in any way that you can. If you know Monty like we do, then you know he would certainly be doing that if he were able to.

Monty was 33 years old.

I read on the website that their breakfast (AM kitchen skillet) is free of charge but ive heard from some friends that stayed last year that the breakfast cost 7.00
