Yeah, the photos are fine but the location is just awkward in general.

Anyway, I enjoyed the gathering as always! I was the Ukyo from Ranma 1/2! And sad to say, this was my last time attending this gathering for now as I don't plan to attend Fanime next year. :( But thank you for always hosting this wonderful gathering!! It's been one of my favorites to attend!

So I was looking at the newly released schedule and Hirokatsu is signing at the same time as the gathering on Saturday. :( I'll likely be trying to get his autograph then and probably a few others too so I'm sure some of us will be a bit late to the gathering. :(

With Hirokatsu returning as a guest, I'm debating on whether or not I'll bring my Satsuki cosplay, if I do I'll try my best to attend!

Official or unofficial gathering, I'll still be there! I also support the Cosplay Gatherings Department staff as well as everyone else who has resigned.

Agreed, this would be a wonderful addition to the con as an official part of it! Many other cons have this, and I've been kinda surprised that Fanime hasn't had one, yet!

I am in full support of the staff that have resigned as well, they have very valid reasons for their decisions, and I hope Fanime learns from this and treats their staff better from now on. Without the staff, there is no Fanimecon.

Whether or not there will be official gatherings, I'll attend whichever gathering(official or unofficial) ends up happening.

After many delays, I have finally uploaded my gathering photos! (I ended up getting an allergy cold so I was not feeling the best for a week, then got kinda busy with personal things ;w; )

Those photos look great! :D I had a fun time at the gathering! Thinking next year I might bring back Kagome again(this year I was Raine from FF8 with my Laguna ^^ )

Thank you to everyone that showed up!! You all made this gathering so much fun and honestly, my favorite one that I've ever hosted!! <3 Everyone was awesome and I am definitely bringing it back next year!! (Also how was I the only Miya there??? ;w; LOL but it's ok)

However, if video game cosplay is welcome, and I can convince my Laguna to go to the gathering, we might be there as Raine and Laguna from Final Fantasy 8!

Absolutely!!  Video game characters are always welcome!  Anime, manga, video games, live action, etc. and Final Fantasy VIII is most certainly old school!

Also as someone who has done Sailor Moon cosplays - my wife and I have done Makoto Kino and Motoki Furuhata (whom I can only kinda pull off), as well as Sailor Moon S Episode 106 flashback Michiru and Haruka (whom I totally can't pull off but it's a driving suit so I look decent from the back) - I know how tricky the uniforms can be!

If this gathering is Friday at 5 I may or may not make it since it's right after Disney(not Disney extended ;w; ) but we will see!

Wonderful! Can't wait, as well as check out that someone is making a Twisted Wonderland gathering as well, So try to come to both disney and that one.

Yeah, hoping so! Though it looks like that gathering might be right after the other Disney gathering, so it depends, really! Though regardless of what happens I'll figure out what to do! I'll for sure be at the other Disney gathering as Honey Lemon either way! :)

Hopefully I can attend as Honey Lemon from Big Hero 6, depending on the day and time!

Hey all! Would anyone be interested in a Sk8 gathering this year?? I was thinking of hosting one if no one else is, haven't seen a thread for one so I'm gonna go for it! ^^ So if you're cosplaying from Sk8 for Fanime this year, feel free to come to the gathering! Also we can hype up for season 2! :D

Side Note: Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.
