Calibornia represent! I will probably be attending as my usual Roxy, hopefully including the scarf I've been working on for years. Alternatively, I may break out my grey paint and bring back my stinky man from Hiveswap. Depends on the vibes!

Thank you to all who have shown interest so far! We had a lot of admirers join us at our last gathering, and we would love to see more cosplayers this year to take some amazing photos. I was the episode 1 Haruhi with the instant coffee last year, and I will be upgrading to Host Haruhi this year (but will probably still bring coffee!).

Hey! Glad to see you post a thread for this gathering!

Unfortunately I wanted to let you know that as per Covid safety protocols, we cannot have gatherings at G2 or G3. See post from our head here: https://m.facebook.com/1320014864682163/posts/5808004189216519/?d=n

If you are looking for a smaller gathering spot, there is plenty of open Friday times for G4, which is the area just outside the Marriott. Historically the gathering has been at G9, the park with the statue across the street (because the gathering used to be humongous lol).

Hey all! I recently asked my Cosplay Gatherings squad this on Discord, but I was interested if anyone here has go to, low-prep con food they typically bring with them for the weekend. Right now I'm considering Larabars and a couple cans of Mr. Boyardee to get me started.

As far as I know, the convention will not be 24 hours this year. I heard somewhere there would be a closing time of around 2:00 AM, but don't quote me on that.

I'm sure some TikTok dance trend might pop up for 2022. I'm an old soul so I can't keep up with the youth these days, haha.
