So, when's this gathering going to be? I'm free whenever. I really don't keep too many plans for conventions.

 It's more or less been bled into the CVS gathering, Friday at 5. I'll either be bringing B. Jenet or Chun Li to it.

 Unless you can "convince" people to let you in. (Which, of course, would be easy for you.) Thursday night's events are pretty much pre-reg only. Shame.

  But hey! You've got a hotel room Thursday night! I'm sure there are plenty of things to do, and I'm sure you'll have dozens of friends there, Meli... *I'll* entertain you, if no one else comes to your rescue. (We could go grab sushi to kick off the weekend's celebration. Or rebel and have Italian food.)

 Anyway.

 The usual set up: the Dance, Swap Meet, some screening rooms.

 Previous posters: You guys forgot (or didn't know about?) Swap Meet Thursday night (as has been in the previous two years). That's one of the main reasons I bother with pre-reg... that, and the at-con-reg line. And it saves staff energy. And a happy staff is a good staff.

 However, I've not yet seen Swap Meet sign ups. It could not be happening this year. It would be a shame if it weren't. (There seems to have been many changes made for this year... Tabletop, Wild 94.9, Stage Zero... hmm.)

  However, you do not need a badge to be "at con"; just to attend any of the events/screening rooms/dance/whatever's happening Thursday night. I say: come anyway!

Hey, maybe Ryu-chan (*waves* Hi Jorge! *luv*) will attempt to do the DOA bathing suit gathering, at the Hilton or Mariott pool, again. My DOA beach Volley Ball Kasumi 1P is still in the drawer somewhere...

I vote a big *YES* on the fasion show and cosplay chess. I think that both these ideas would perk up the con nicely.

  In terms of drive-by anime, sounds like it would be much fun if it were organized, i.e., the space was alotted, it was in the programs, people know about it, etc. Spontaneity is a fun thing.

my friend is making a chun li and convinced me to be cammy. meh.   So possible +2 for your gathering.

Considering the general success of last years' SNK gathering, (which rapidly proceeded into a Capcom vs SNK gathering... yay!!!) I thought I might throw a potential Street Fighter gathering out there. So far, there has been a confirmed Sean, Remy, and M.Bison (Japanese version Vega), as well as the ChunLi I'm having so much fun putting together. <3 Also, there is possible mention of an Alex and a Guile.

 So! Anyone else planning on any Street Fighter cosplay this year? Wanna hold a gathering?
