They put on DOA 4 only for a night and then took it off. Damnit,  I wanted to play it more.   I kinda wished they put on more tvs for fighting games on the console.  D:

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the first annual Gwee Dodgeball game.

There were about 14 people in total before I had to leave but we had tons of fun.

Hopefuly Gaia will be selling more cool plushy toys next year so we can play again.

If we DO play again it will probably be sunday in the back of the gaming room.

First, I would just like to point out that the poker set up was great and very enjoyable thanks to Jyunishinsho and Co.  

For all those that played in any of the poker events at Fanime this year, I am sure you remember me as the rude Asian guy, if any of you guys were offended in any way by my actions, I would like to apologize to you all for being such a jerk at the table.  

I should not have acted that way to begin with and I should not have brought my ego to the table.  If I offended anyone playing, in any way shape or form, I, again, would just like to say I am sorry and that I should not have acted in such an unsportsmanlike manner.

I'm sure I will be seeing many of you again next year, and If anyone wants any pointers on how to play, or if you want to know how to play, I would be more than eager to help you, feel free to ask me next Fanime.  See you next year.

My girlfriend was obsessed with para about a year ago.

She memorized many routines.

Im pretty sure she remembers most of them.

She showed me a few dances but... kinda embarassed to do them infront of other people lol.

BTW I am 18 and what is a rover?

Rovers are stationed throughout the con and perform a large variety of duties from peacebonding weapon-props, handling lines for events, making sure Fanime and SJCC rules are being followed, and using a radio to inform higher if any problems that come up, such as medical situations.  They are usually the first and the most visible face of Fanime Staff to con attendees and so are also tasked with public relations.

Skills needed to excel in this position would simply be a good head on your shoulder to deal with anything that arises and people skills to interact with con attendees.

If you're interested in working for Rovers, I highly reccomed you show up at the staff meeting and introduce yourself to the department head.  It's the best way to leave an impression, and we could definately use a few more good people.
