General Anime Chat / Mai Hime

I watched the first 8 episodes.  Episodes 1 and 2 were so-so.  Starting on episode 4, the series started to kick butt and I'm hooked.  I can't wait to watch more.

My cousin recommended the series she gave me a copy of the first 8 episodes.  She loves the music.  I plan to start watching tonight.

:) No problem on the Children's Museum.  I was concerned about the walking distance from the Convention Center to the Children's Museum for some of the cosplayers who didn't want to walk too much. XD

This is my first time cosplaying at FaimeCon.  I don't know where the best locations are for the pictures.  The Tech Museum was just a suggestion.  I go with the group where the location is for the cosplay pictures. ^__^  All of the locations suggested are within walking distance from the convention center.

How about the Sailor Moon Doom II video game?  Does it count as a parody?  No romance unfortunately XD

Quote from: "Ska_Kitti">> NO FRIED EGGS! *clutches hellangels head* x_x Man, I love these Fanime bbs.. *hugs it* .. the cosplay.com ones can be rough on us designers. ;_;  People assume the worst things there. ANYWAYS... the lobby is fine... where's the lobby? Is that the "main hallway" of the con where the escalators and registration are? : ) If my sweetums is up for walking and if his knee is doing good, we can all go to the Children Museum and take pictures, although I don't want my guy to hold down the group. x_x I hope nothing happens to his knees. *prays and such*

Ska-Kitti, regarding the Children Museum, did you actually meant the Tech Museum?  The Children’s Discovery Museum is towards the end of Downtown San Jose next to Highway 87.  If yes, then I, too, was actually thinking about taking pictures at the Tech Museum, especially at the front entrance where there is the big display of the balls going up and down (whatever the display is called), and it’s shaded XD

The Tech Museum is next to the Civic Auditorium and Montgomery Theater on Market Street and across the street from the park for those who don't know. :)

Saturday at noon is not a problem for me.  As for location, anywhere as long as the sun doesn't affect the group shots.

Suggestion:  maybe we meet at the lobby.  When everyone arrives at the lobby, we find a location around the convention for the best shots.  Or if someone knows a great place for the group shots, then we meet there.  Hellangel, what do you think?

The new Edward Elric costume looks terrific.  It’s going to be the best at Fanime.  Great work.  XD

I don't have cable :-(  I heard the dubbing is pretty good.

For those who haven't heard, Funimation is going to be purchased by Navarre Corporation.  The public traded company is in the software and home entertainment business.  The deal is not closed pending certain conditions and Navarre having the money to buy Funimation.

I have no preference for date and time.  I'm flexible.

Evangelion Xgouki, did you cosplayed as Colonel Roy Mustang with a group of other cosplayers including Chihiro and Haku from Spirited Away?  If yes, I have a picture of you and your group.  Here is the link, http://www.innovateinfinitely.com/animepage/2004fanimeconpictures/2004fanimecon27.jpg  (You may have to copy and paste the link to a new browser.)

Quote from: "hellangel"well, that just killed the conversation.

so...here's the list of characters we've got so far:

Full Metal Alchemist Cosplay Group

Elric Brothers
Edward Elric
Hellangel, ININ, HanyaanFaery, Red’s group member
Alphonse Elric: Red’s group member

I rarely have time to visit the forums, and I'm mentioned for the Full Metal Alchemist Cosplay Group for 2005.  Thanks for making me feel special XD

Count me in for Fanime 2005.

Next year, I’m cosplaying for the first time as Edward Elric.  I started planning and asking people for tips in creating the costume.

I’m attending JTAF2 in September.  I like to have the costume completed so I can wear it.  If I experience any problems, then I can fix them for Fanime Con 2005.
