Topics - Fazio

Celebrate 5 years of comedy and controversy as we look back at all things terrible and topical. Prizes and special guests!

I hate America. And freedom. And men. And all your good summer memories. And America. And freedom.

But if there's one thing I do like, it's making millions of strangers hate me. So come join me as we look into GamerGate, sex and race culture in media, and beyond. No topic is too trigger warning for THIS panel!

And so there's no confusion, I'm pro-feminism and SJW and think that Anita lady is actually onto something. Oh...I'm also a white man.

Am I just missing something or....

Hey guys! Fazio here from the Fazio vs. Anime and Comedy Club panels!

This year I'm going to try and do a special screening of the 1990 oddity and mash up extravaganza Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue. We'll have popular Fanime Comedians doing live riffing, as well as audience participation. 16+ for language (from us. It's a kids show).

Let me know what you guys think and if you have any suggestions!
And thus I return to where it all started. No longer a shell of a man but a full soul.

Watch me talk about God knows what and be funny about it. Cartoons will be shown, laughs will be had, and fights will be gotten into over quality of Death Note.

Sunday 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Be there or be somewhere else.
You ever watch Yugioh Abridged and thought "Hey!  I can do that!"  Maybe you've seen Who's Line is it Anyway? and said "I make up funny junk on the spot all the time!  Stop telling me what I already know Fazio and get to the point!"

Well then THE DUB SHOW is right up your alley.

Teams of 3 compete against each other by dubbing over a scene from a random anime.  The funniest teams move on until only one remains as THE ULTIMATE DUBBERS.  Prizes will be given out!

This is our second year doing this.  Last year was so much fun, but I know we can top it.

Starts Sunday night 12AM to 2AM.  That's right guys: 2 HOURS!!!

You can sign your team up here or at the start of the panel.
I hate you.  Let's talk about it.

Quote from: Official Panel DescriptionHe's performed at Fanime, AOD, Long Beach Comic Con, ALA, Anime Conji, and top clubs in LA and Ventura. Now the 2010 Anime Expo Last Comic Standing champion is bringing the hate in his own panel. Fazio will destroy anime for you in this hilarious, sexy, NSFW free for all. Special Guests!

Friday Night, 1AM - 2AM
Not really a panel, but I wasn't sure where else to put this.

I'll be bringing my D20 My Little Pony game to Fanime this year.  It's been a huge work in progress so I could really use some input.

Is this something that interests you?  If so, let me know and we'll work out a time to test out the game.  It'll probably be at one of the tables or something.

Feel free to ask me any questions.  This game is meant to appeal to everyone!  So if DnD style games ever scared you before, no worries, this one is made to be easy to understand and get into.

Hey guys!  Post any and all questions you have about The Dub Show here!

Think you're the next Little Kuriboh?  Prove it by competing in the ultimate fan dub parody competition!

Teams of 3 will compete by improving over a random scene from an anime.  The team the makes up the funniest stuff will go on to win fame, prizes, and a chance to battle some of the anime world's best comics!  Some come on down and find out if you're the next Yu-gi-oh Abridged...or...well...not Yu-gi-oh Abridged (we kid we kid!)

A note about the hosts:

Danny Gonzales was the winner of Anime Expo's Last Comic Standing in 2008.  He's been performing at anime conventions all over LA, as well as some of the hottest clubs in Hollywood.

Fazio won AX LCS in 2010.  He's the Co-President of Laughology, UC Santa Barbara's premier stand up comedy show.  He also performs at anime conventions all over California, as well as top comedy clubs in LA and Ventura.  He recently organized and performed at Animation on Display to a full audience!  He'll be one of the judges at AX LCS this year.

More guests to be announced.
