So it looks I may have to apply to get three panels. I know I've seen plenty of people hosting at least two panels, but also that panel space is limited. What are my chances of getting all three if I apply for? I'm asking since I'm as cautious as possible with what I pick, and I am in situation here.

First a brief explanation: I do a podcast reviewing both regular anime and hentai. I do it in a mask and as the character Glitch the Digital Demon from planet Fanboy. He has come to earth to teach you humans a thing or two about fandom.

My hentai reviews obviously have nudity censored and only the audio of the sex scenes. But for Fanime I plan to show a hentai review video with all the juicy goodness uncensored. This would be followed by a Q&A session where people get to ask me the most stupid question they can think of.
And yes, I am gonna be in character the whole time.

I will also mention that after the panel is over, you can meet me outside so we can travel as a pack over to the hentai room. Because one hour of fun is not enough for me. XD

Basically, people who think the government staged the Sandy Hook shooting in order to pass more gun control.

I of course think these people are idiots who believe everything is a conspiracy theory. They have so far as to post the phone number and home address of a man who sheltered frightened children and a bus driver in his home.

The big debate going on everywhere right now.
I myself believe arms should be heavily regulated. There's been this suggestion going online about having a safety test in order to get a gun, gun owner insurance, and individually marked bullets. Which makes sense to me.

I've also seen how there's a large spectrum of people on this issue. Some people are crazed nuts who want to shoot it out with the government, while some people don't want assault rifles but just a weapon to protect themselves.

After quite a few years, we get a new animated flick. It looks pretty cool seeing DB drawn in a more detailed style(as opposed to the retraced quality of DB kai). Akira Toriyama is working closely with this one. I love the image of Goku and he God of Destruction floating in orbit.
After the cinematic lobotomy known as dragonball evolution, lets hope we get a good movie. XD

I hope you all recovered from the laughter of last year's panel, because the comedy club at Fanime is back for 2013! Otaku based standup comedy at its best.

We got a few things in store for you guys this coming year. It's going to be a lot of fun. Seasoned vets will be returning to report for duty, and new faces will be ready to perform. Also, we are on for two nights!
A 16+ panel.

Fanime is almost here! I also sent out an email to all comedians about confirming that they are ready.
To all other people, you can still sign up, but you'll be on a waiting list. If there is time at the end of either show, you'll get to perform. But keep in mind you'll have to do a five minute set or shorter.

Saturday May 25th, 7pm-9pm in Panels 3. This is our main show and will be a mix of veterans to the club and new comedians.
Sunday May 26th, 6pm-7pm in Panels 3. This night will mostly be made up of new comedians.

And also be ready to memorize and time your sets, and make sure it is comedy relating to anything geeky(that's kind of a given but just to clear all bases).

EDIT: You must have a badge during the time of the panel. More than one comedian has performed without a badge before, and I don't want that number to grow. Just keeping things cool with panel staff.

EDIT 2: This is a 16+ panel. You can swear and talk about sex, but don't get graphic. As long as your sentences aren't entirely make up of curse words and you don't mention every precise detail of certain sex acts, you should be fine.

Today is my birthday, so let's celebrate by going to the local Klingon strip joint.

Did anybody watch this last night? It is a reality show about a speed dating panel at NY ComiCon.
Quite interesting to watch. It didn't scream "look at these weirdos" nor "look, we're part of geek culture!". It was just fans in their habitat.

I was rooting for the large wookie fan to get anybody(even though it seemed unlikely).

It's time once again for Stand-up comedy, otaku style(hard to believe it's been four years since the first one). We're gonna get ready to make Fanime rofl.
Just waiting for staff approval before we can start dancing in joy(at least I will XD ).  We are approved and good to go.  ;)

Fanime is really close.(boy that was fast) Here's what's going on.
Each comedian gets 8 minutes. Waiting list people get five minutes.
I further explain this in the email I sent to everyone.

Just a quick note I should have mentioned a while ago. This panel is 16+. You do plenty of dirty jokes, but just don't go into graphic detail about bodily fluids and other gag reflex inducing humor. XD

Also, you can still sign up. If there is time left over at the end of the panel, I'll let an extra person perform.

And we have our time and location. It is Saturday from 7pm to 9pm in Panels 3. The same room as last year. We are two hours this time.(the last time this happened was in 2009)
Even though we are in a waiting list, don't be afraid to apply. Things happen and we never know if somebody will drop out. so far, nobody on the waiting list yet.

So what have been your dream time moments with Fanime in them?
Mine either involve the usual "not ready for fanime" nightmares, or dreams where Fanime is held in this huge structure that involves several floors for the con.

So what do you folks think of this movement?
I personally am a supporter, and glad it's gotten momentum.(in some ways kind of surprised me that it did)
I remember feeling frustration the first week because the media completely ignored it. Now it's all over the place.

Pretty simple. Let's how far we can quote each other over and over.

"The bomb is about to go off we don't do something now. One of these dealers is the mad otaku bomber!"
