Anyways..
Hana Yori Dango
Nodame Cantabile
Jigoku Shoujo
Boogiepop Phantom
Gokusen
On a side note, I think these other dorama's need some attention (even though they aren't live-action of an Anime)
Musashi TV - No, not talking about Gundoh Musashi or Musashi the movie. Probably one of my favorite ones out there
My Boss My Hero - Yeah, another pretty good one.
I haven't seen GTO live action so that would be cool
Saikano Live Action
Pride
Hero
SoulTaker
Eureka 7
Blood +
Bleach
Hana Yori Dango
Kamikaze Girls
Death Note live action movie
Nana live action movie
and if possible, the Bleach Rock Musicals :D
Huahahha! I VOTE FOR... Cutie Honey, Nana, and Prince of Tennis Lives.
Summer Snow pls ^_^
I hear there is a Detective conan live action. That would be awesome to see.
Oh oh! can old sentai live-action be shown too? I miss the mecha robots :D like
Space Detective Shaider
Maskuman
Machine Man
and others alike :3
I'd love to see live action Nodame Cantabile on the big screen! It's such a great show. ;D
Mushishi the Live Action film. Maybe the original Godzilla. Are the original Ultraman tv episodes available? The ones from the 70's or early 80's? Mito Komon!!
Nana 1 and 2 Live Action
Deathnote 1 and 2 Live Action (3 if there is any o___o)
Love Com Live Action <333
Bleach Musical
Hana Yori Dango
Prince of Tennis Musical
Gokusen 1 and 2
I didn't know there was a Bleach Live Action (besides the musical)
Yeah! Mushishi would be awesome!
Manga/Anime Based:
Death Note movies
Kamikaze Girls
Yamada Tarou Monogatari (awsome drama based on a manga)
Prince of Tennis Musicals (I'd vote for the Rikkai Set and/or Progressive Match Higa (which will be out by then) since they're most recent)
Other Movies (and Drama) of Awesome:
Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu (aka Be With You - Japanese Version)
Love Letter
Jotei (Drama)
and... if things of a BL-type persuasion are under consideration...
Itsuka no Kimi e
Ai no Kotodama
Godzilla: Final Wars!
(Sorry, but I loves mah Godzilla films!)
Power Rangers: The Movie
(The action sequences were Japanese, right? Giant mech robots, c'mon! Maybe? lol Well, Power Rangers might not fly, but Godzilla: Finals Wars is still awesome. We should watch it. ;D)
I are seconding the Kaiju vote...
Godzilla Final Wars yes, but also the Original Godzilla...
The Heisei Gamera Series would also be really cool...
Anyone seen "Train Man: Densha Otoko"? Really good live action japanese comedy. I suggest that. :D

Oh yeah! How could I forget about Gamera?
I would please like to suggest Fanime 2008 Live Action Video programing department to show these recent titles.
Honey and Clover Live Action TVSeries. (Also the Movie if Viz Communications will let you screen it)
Nodame Cantabile TV LIve Action Series
One Pound Gospel Live Action TV Series (Based from Rumiko Takahashi of Ranma 1/2 Fame)
Maison Ikkoku Live Action Movie
and Lastly First Kiss TV Drama (Lead Actress played lead role in Hana Yori Dango Live Action TV series)
Please consider these requests to improve the list of new stuff to show in the viewing rooms.
Thanks
Jason Estioko
I heard there was a Peach Girl live action...also Kimi Wa Petto was really good as well for live action....
Cutey Honey
City Hunter (old I know, but still good 8))
Nana 2
Full House...VERY GOOD!!
also isn't there a LOVE.COM live action based on the manga??
Those would be awesome to see, eventhough I own most of them...
i 2nd the desire for Deathnote.
Are these just movies or can we include dramas too?
And hopefully it's not just restricted to Japanese stuff. ;O
I think a lot of people would enjoy the K-Drama 'Coffee Prince.' It's pretty similar to Ouran (crossdressing girl working with a bunch of guys).
Also seconding Kimi Wa Pet. I read a bit of the manga but would love to see the live action for it. =D
Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins.
If I had to watch that, EVERYBODY has to watch that.
The only live action I really know besides Nodame...
PRETTY GUARDIAN SAILOR MOON! xDD Episode Zero or one, preferably. :0
(I love PGSM. @.@ )
Call me a crazy throwback-lover (or, as I prefer, a classicist!) but I'd love to see the Zeram/Zeiram live films brought back to Fanime. :D
... heck. Run them back to back to back with Iria, and there we'd have me sitting in a room for 7 hours. ^_^
Nana - all/any
Peach Girl
Kamikaze Girls
I"m probably the only one to suggest this, but how about the Princess Princess Live Action drama?
I'd love to see Nodame Cantabile live action too =D.
Death Note is always fun, and another My Boss, My Hero vote.
- Sailor Moon live action (especially ep 3 & 4).
- Hanazakari No Kimitachi E live action (also known as Hana Kimi).
- Any yaoi out there.
Transformers
Sailor Moon!
atsu-hime with miyazaki aoi leading the cast!!!!!
i still love her hachi best, she's so cute >____< one of my favorite female japanese actresses up there with horikita maki!!!
c'mon!!! who doesn't want to see miyazaki aoi and horikita maki in kimono?!!!!!
virgin snow with japan's miyazaki aoi and korea's lee jun ki!!!
I agree with the votes for Death Note, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon and My Boss, My Hero (my god that is hysterical); I'd like to see Honey and Clover as well...also because I'm hooked to it: the new Kamen Rider Series, Kamen Rider Kiva should appeal to people...it's theme is vampires. It's a great series, lots of action and humor. Only ten eps out right now but *shrugs* it's an option. My sig is of my favorite Kiva character, so it seems fitting that I suggest it, lol.
Another suggestion, since I noticed someone mention Atsu-Hime...Furin Kazan, last year's period drama, had Gackt in it playing Kenshin. I've seen the entire thing and it's a good series, but it is quite long....
Sukiyaki Western Django
Add Nodame Cantabile specials to the TV.
This is completely on a side note, but I totally think they can make the specials into an OVA or something. I mean, it's perfect for something like that.
DEATH NOTE!! ....totally...
Hanazakari No Kimitachi E
Densha Otoko - the TV series, not the movie...
Hana Yuri Dango 1 and 2
Peach Girl (but I don't believe all has been fansubed)
Gokusen 1, 2 and 3 if SARS has started putting it out yet ^_^
Dating Now
Sailor Moon Live Action
Cutie Honey Movie
Your Under Arrest!
I can't believe I forgot that one, but its a must ^_^
Is there an official list around here?
-Kamen Rider Kiva
-My Boss My Hero
-Princess Princess D
-Gokusen

Oh, man I'd forgotten about the Princess Princess live action!
Add my vote for that :)
L Change The World
The death note spin off movie
L: change the world!
how about the Super Mario live action?
Last Friends - You absolutely MUST show this one. It stars many familar cast members from Nodame Cantabile (including Nodame aka Ueno Juri herself). It covers many life issues like DV (domestic violence), homosexuality, and the limits of friendship. If any new drama should be included, this is the one.
Oh yeah, there's also a dorama adaptation of Watase Yuu's Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend), so I'm sure you'd want to include that as well.
A few things I picked up which are pretty decent..
The One Pound Gospel - Maybe a little silly at times... I mean, a nun and a boxer... eh. Nevertheless, still very interesting.
Summer Snow - Probably one of the best drama I have seen recently. Bitter sweet to the very end.
Beautiful Life - Another decent drama. One of those things that hits you pretty hard.
Definitely adding my votes for Kimi Wa Pet, Princess Princess D, Coffee Prince, and Hana-Kimi. Also, if they're available, I'd like to suggest the Antique Bakery live-action series, as well as Fruit Chan's horror movie "Dumplings," if it isn't too explicit for Fanime.
OOH!
Yeah, that's a good idea, The Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon live action. I agree with that lol
I'd *really* like to see Casshern on the big screen.
That's a really awesome movie Utada Hikaru sang the theme for ("Dareka No Negai Ga Kanau Koro [When Someone's Wish Comes True]").
A clip of the main character in his second battle was going around the internet a couple years back as "The Live Action MegaMan". But it's a really neat movie :D
I really didn't get Casshern... and since it's licensed in America, I'm pretty sure we'd need to get the rights to show it. :0
It's licensed in America?
I did not know that. Unless that's why I was able to Netflix it lol (but then that would me a few other movies mentioned here, like "Kamikaze Girls", would have the same restrictions @.@;; that sucks!)
It took me a couple times of watching it (the first littered with rewinding and playing back to see "wait...what was that?"), but what didn't you get about it?
It can be confusing, but it was still a fun movie, I think :)
Yeah, it got licensed a while ago. Basically, if it's able to get rented in Netflix or Blockbuster.... it's licensed. :0
I just... didn't get it... at all. I don't consider a movie that I would need to rewind and rewind worth watching. >.> Though that probably would have helped.
I was lost in the plot and didn't know why things were happening.

Oh, you wouldn't like Momento (a really cool flick about a guy with only short term memory, it plays in chunks of events in reverse-order), that one's good (but not an Asian movie, lol)
I love stuff like that.

I think I watched that when I was like, in middle/elem. school...
I totally didn't get it either, though I didn't particularly dislike it. :0
+ 1 for Kamen Rider Kiva and or Kabuto.
Liar Game - Just watched it today and I strongly suggest this show. It has it's cheesy moments but a great ending... minus the last few seconds (though I guess it makes sense..).
Detroit Metal City
:J along with Coffee Prince
Also Sexy Voice and Robo <3

Air Gear
Storm Rider team race
There is a Live Action version of Air Gear? Link PLS.
I'd want to see People start a storm rider team.
Maybe a team started on the Fanime Forums and race to a San Jose land mark =]
If anyone wants to start I'd wanna join or create a team
I definitely want to see all 3 Death Note Movies:
Death Note: The Movie
Death Note: The Last Name
L: Change the World (aka Death Note movie 3)
Food Detective Kuitan - listed as a drama but it's also hilarious. Warning: watching this series will make you hungry. :o
The Great Yokai War.
Death Note. 3rd movie is the best! L <3 xDD
dragon zakura is more than worth a watch.
it's incredible. teppei, abe hiroshi, yamapi, and all the girls are awesome.
haha u cant forget dragon ball live action!! =)

Anyone seen "Train Man: Densha Otoko"? Really good live action japanese comedy. I suggest that. :D
I Agree whole-heartedly with this one!
I recall we had a marathon for it 2 years ago, dunno if a lot of people want to see it again. I do agree it is a very well done series.

Finally! I found the thread for suggestions! =D Ok... Ummm... I'll put them in categories:
LIVE ACTION DRAMAS
- Hana Yori Dango - Seasons 1 & 2
- Liar Game
- Yamada Tarou Monogatari
- Boys over Flowers [Korean Drama Version]
- Gokusen
- Maou
- Honey & Clover
- Hanazakari no Kimitachi e
- One Pound Gospel
- Ryuusei no Kizuna
- Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend)
- Bambino!
- Kurosagi
- Goong [Korean Drama]
- LIFE
LIVE ACTION FILMS
- Yatterman [it comes out in March 2009 in Japan]
- Hana Yori Dango Final (Director's Cut)
- Death Note - 1 & 2
- L Change the World
- Gegege No Kitaro
- Honey & Clover
- Boku wa Imoto ni Koi Wo Suru
- Casshern
- The Prince of Tennis
- Hotaru no Haka
There's probably more but I'm rooting to get Yatterman for the Films! I have most of these already hardsubbed by fansubbers if you need them. If not, there's d-addicts for help or mysoju.com to watch them streaming!
I'd like to see "Lady Snowblood" and "I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK".
I liked the movie "GeGeGe no kitaro" when i saw it in Japan!
And i would love to watch it again, along with the second movie.

Death Note. 3rd movie is the best! L <3 xDD
It's going to be in theatres. Subtitled on april 29th and dubbed on the 30th.
Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu
^ I want to watch that as well
I suggest the Korean Live Action Antique Bakery Movie! There is English subs available for it.
This would be great for the yaoi room.
as campy and horrible as it may be, I think we should get the bleach musical.
Also, Gokusen
Zatoichi (there's quite a few of them actually and very old school)
Hanzo the Razor
I request the same things every year, but they don't tend to get shown. Seems people want to see anime/manga adaptations and genre films only ; ; But I'll request them again this year in the hope they get shown:
Any film by Tsai Ming-Liang (I Don't Want to Sleep Alone, The Wayward Cloud, Goodbye Dragon Inn, etc)
Any film by Wong Kar Wai (There's Only One Sun, 2046, My Blueberry Nights, In the Mood for Love, etc)
I don't know if you have guys have this on the list or not but it be good to show Red Cliff movies aka Battle of the Red Cliffs (Chibi) in Dynasty Warriors games.
Kamen Rider Decade, Kamen Rider Kiva, Kamen Rider Kabuto, and Kamen Rider Den-O.
Quote from: otakuapprentice on April 11, 2009, 01:32:39 AM
Kamen Rider Decade, Kamen Rider Kiva, Kamen Rider Kabuto, and Kamen Rider Den-O.
QFT. Needs more Kamen Rider.
Nodame Cantabile is win.
Sukiyaki Western Django is fun (show the original version, the International version was cut). Make sure to have subtitles though, or the Engrish will be unwatchable for a lot of people (even though it's part of the parody)
Death Note is meh IMO. They completely butchered the story (based on the 1st movie)
I don't think anyone's mentioned Sand Chronicles.
Or how about Happily Ever After, http://www.amazon.com/Happily-Ever-After-Toshiyuki-Nishida/dp/B001JTTJBC
