Clockwork Alchemy (as far as I know) takes place entirely in the Double Tree Hotel. Fanime however is spread out over several buildings including the convention center proper, South Hall (swapmeet), the Fairmont Hotel (panels), Civic Center Auditorium (musicfest, masquerade), and Parkside Hall (Black & White Ball).

ahh okay, now i remember i didnt go  the Civic center and parkside hall when i attendant my first year.

as it gets closer to Fanime, im looking over the maps..is there different buildings that are part of the CON? i know the convention is between two hotels and theres hauls but is there another building on a different street? or am i just lost again?

im going solo this year..everyone flake on me ..

this year is my 2nd time going, last time i went was 3 years ago i think. where we got our badge was front door then to the right? it think and remember being to see outside through the windows and ppl had gatherings in front of those.  this year flying solo as of now, so hopefully i wont get fully lost :D

i can make a server and put up an invitation for everyone to join. it would be easier to get in touch with people. post gatherings with times or send reminders. continue talking to people outside this forum. since i dont use FB or Twitter i prefer discord very simple to use.
as for Fanime 2016 im not sure if im attending this year, last year was my first year attending it. was a lil lost but overall a very wonderful,joyful experience. so if anyone is up for Discord please post here and ill make a server and post an invitation

for example i did not know where the masquerade ball was at nor clockwork academy. i noticed people going to the Fairmount hotel but did not not know why.
this was my first time going to Fanime i went on Sat. either way we still had a great time

We got there after parking and registered at around 2:30 or 3 on Sat. Stayed till 10ish. We live an hr and 15mins away. So the drive isn't bad.

well my first day ended at 10ish pm. it was fun. a bit confusing finding all these panels which we even know we could visit other buildings/venues/hotels. overall it was a fun experience. saw some really nice cosplay. we decided if we have time next year we would differently go back. and now at least we know to check the other spots.

bummer im only going to be there on Saturday (today)
