Hello, Everyone! The submission forms for the gatherings have been made available for everyone! With that in mind, both my friend and I will be sending in the Homestuck Meetup gathering form!

[4/8/2017] >> ( I forgot to update the log on here so here are two sets of updates) {Update:1}So a certain Tavros cosplayer by the name of Jay will be handing out free bagels to people who are hungry. I know many cosplayers spend their money on merch and hotel stuff and can't really be able to afford food for a day so keep this in mind: there will be free bagels given out at the meetup. {Update 2} I will be attending two meetings today: One for the convention itself, and the other for the gathering from what I am seeing. I will update you all tomorrow if there is any crucial information you all need to know about.

Hellooooooo everybody~! So last official meetup or even con was a bit... interesting. Everyone was calling it Dramacon2k16 and such so this year, instead of asking for suggestions during the unofficial meetup, I will be asking it here and the biggest issue last year was if there are going to be incestships and pedo ships. Well I will address them immediately:

Pedo ships are no longer a thing (technically) since they all are of age, but I will still hold the original rules: No shipping pictures of Dad EgbertxJohn but you can still get photos with the both of them during a section I will be calling out, "family photo time". they are allowed cheek kissing (which I have yet to see any pedoships do this or rather pedoships in general in the fandom but it doesn't hurt to cover these things) but no fondling and such. Just keep it under 18+ okay guys?

The rules described above also apply to the "incestships".

If you have any problems, suggestions about the rules, or concerns, feel free to comment below.

Now onto when and where it will happen: As by tradition, we hold it after the official homestuck meetup which is usually on Sunday at 5 pm, but if it changed this year, then just keep in mind it will be after the official meetup, which should be at the park as usual.

if you made it this far then congratulations! you might have earned yourself a bagel from Tavros (my friend might be giving away bagels)! anyway, yes yes, surprise surprise I never actually left the fandom because I wanted to do something special when I left.
You see, last year, I, along with my friends, were going to have a panel and at the last 10-15 minutes, we were going to play live with instruments, Heir of Grief. That was how I was going to leave the fandom. So now, this year, after everything has settled down and if I can afford to buy myself a portable amp, I will play the song.
Besides that little bonus, I have a little surprise for you all, but I will be leaving that for another day.

So I will repeat: if you have any questions, suggestions, concerns, please let me know and I will keep each one in mind.

I will be able to have access to a camera this year so we might also do some shipping photos if you are into that kind of stuff (note: this does not mean you have to have body contact with them, just a group shot or something), we will be doing some extra photo's after the OFFICIAL meet-up (or if I am put in charge of it again this year, during the official meetup). We also tend to go to the homestuck panels in groups because there is always confusion for directions for the panels.

If you have any suggestions as what we should do, feel free to...well, suggest!

Also, a little note: Please use your common sense. Seal up if you can, and if you can not, feel free to ask around. Many of us carry our sealers and such with us in the event that someone needs to re-apply. If someone is doing something they should not, either report it to con staff or to me and either con staff or I will straighten up the issue.

Also, the Highly anticipated Homestuck Train WILL happen again this year and ALL FANDOMS are allowed to join. The Homestuck train will "leave the station" (park) at 12:30 P.M. on Friday and Saturday. I will be taking photos and videos of the train and other such activities however if you have a problem with it, please let me know immediately and will try to get you out of the photos and will edit you out of the videos.

If you have any ideas for games and such, we are definitely open to suggestions for games. Shipping circles, challenges, skits, and prizes will be given out (granted, the prizes will most likely be food, water, faygo, etc. but I hope you appreciate it ^_^) So come on by!

We are also trying to break last years record which one of my friends say was close to 900 by the start of the official meetup but I counted 507 around noon on Saturday so our goal to beat is 507 homestucks! Let's see if we can beat our record everyone!

The reason why I am asking is because I would like to host another unofficial homestuck meet up like last year along with my friend. The meetup will start inside, on the first floor near the stages and once we get enough people, we will be going out to the park and play some games, go to the one panel if you are interested, and get some faygo and food. We are always up for suggestions for what we want to do from other homestucks.

As always, Seal up or wear gloves. No one likes to have makeup on their cosplays from other people.

Hello! So I attended FanimeCon 2014 for the first time cosplaying and was the Karkat that lead the unofficial homestuck meetup in the park along with a friendly (yet tall) Nepeta. I was told I was a headcanon for various amounts of people as well and true, my wig did get fucked up by the end of day 1, I had to deal with it and try to fix it. I am currently getting a new and definitely better wig and am wondering if any panels are searching for a Karkat? I can replicate my voice to almost Cohlab's karkat voice and am 5'1".
I can go for the whole con and am even thinking about doing wheelchair Tavros because of two reasons: A) I can do his voice VERY WELL. B) My mother is handicapped and has two wheelchairs so I may be able to take one. I am also thinking about doing a fem!karkat just to show that males CAN pull off being a female character.
