Dropping to one lane will really affect vehicle traffic.  It gets backed up all the way along the next block past the Hilton corner due to attendees being dropped off and/or picked up in the bus stop area.  I was on the bus headed to the convention center on Saturday morning, and we waited a good 15 minutes to get from the corner to the bus stop.  The bus can't legally let us off between bus stops but it would have been quicker to get off at the stop before and walk to the center.

Sounds interesting, some of my favorite anime characters are from Osaka (Heiji Hattori and Kazuha Toyama from Detective Conan and Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga from Azumanga Daioh).  Your panels are at the late hours!  (I'm also interested in the Kimoi/Kawaii panel)

The gathering was a blast, loved seeing all the shows, characters, etc.

That was an awesome gathering, and we even had Crablante and that double-chinned kid!  I hope for another gathering next year!

Nice to hear, now just hoping they'll be played at times I can make it.

For the Gaming Hall, do we bring our own tabletop games, is that allowed (board or card games)?

I'm hoping for clarification on the badge requirement.  I pre-reg'd last year and I've got a confirmation number from that, but no badge ID number I guess.

Well the Bunny Blanc outfit is NOT going to be completed in time, too many long hours at work and no real weekends with enough time to sew..  >:(  But I'd love to come by and take pictures if I can!

I'd be interested in attending.  I'm hoping you'll be given a slot that I can make it, most of the panels I wanted to attend last year were at inconvenient times.  >:(

It'll be hard to think of the Jump Gathering without you running it  :'(  Sorry I missed it last year, but I hope to make it this year!

My friends are huge fans of Ever After High and I know they've mentioned trying to make some of the outfits for some of the characters (I think Raven and Kitty Cheshire).  They're prodding me to try a Bunny Blanc outfit.  If I can pull it together by Fanime time, I'll be at the gathering!  I'm hoping if my friends get their outfits together as well, that I'll drag them along!

Just checked the Fanime site, clicked on Hotel Reservations and got this message:  Fanime Housing is now closed. Please contact your confirmed hotel directly for changes and cancellations starting Friday, May 16, 2014. 

I made a reservation less than half an hour earlier, but had to send an email to housing to see if it could be changed because I selected a two-bed room, but my confirmation shows a King bed only.  Hoping for the best!  Still haven't gotten an email confirmation, although it looks like my reservation is there...

I was too far back and my pics didn't turn out :-(  I really enjoyed the panel and appreciated that you took the time afterwards to answer a few more questions!  Hope you have a chance to do the panel again next year! 

I mentioned turning some of your slides so the whole pattern piece would be visible but this is just a reminder.  RE bringing a bolt of fabric, it doesn't have to be a whole bolt, I know Jo-Anns sometimes lets you take the cardboard if you buy the end of the fabric, so you could use one of those and maybe just a yard or yard and a half of fabric on it.  (or a mini version to fit in your luggage).  I thought the panel went very well, thanks for doing it!

So, my 3D TARDIS came today. I am planning on taking it to the gathering. I am going to need help assembling it.

Will you need screwdrivers? Duct Tape?  Annoying yet friendly advice?  Supervision?  I'll help though not extremely handy.

Pre-paid badge pickup was awesome.  The longest amount spent was simply getting from the entry to picking up the badge, a matter of minutes (we got there about 2pm and had the badge as quickly as that!).  My only complaint is that my friend's badge had the cutest penguin and I had the bishie... hmm tough choice!!

I see in the Events listing that there will be a Manga Lounge again this year.  I have both English and Japanese language manga that I'd like to donate.  These are series I either started and decided not to finish, or series I've finished and will not read again.  What hours can I drop off the manga?
