Regarding the Psycho Donuts incident, apparently a group of 30-40 young Homestuck cosplayers went into Psycho Donuts and stole bottles of Faygo. These people are sadly a large majority of the fandom and are a big reason Homestucks get a bad name. Psycho Donuts is a place that we love to visit during meetups and my friends and I were extremely pissed that a bunch of morons ruined it for us. Since we felt bad, we decided to make an apology note and we collected about $15 to pay for the stolen goods. We weren't sure how much was stolen, but we hope it was enough to cover some of the cost. When we tried to give it to the cashier nurse, she was confused and tried to take the money back (I guess she wasn't working the same shift). However, she was very thankful to us and said she would post the note in the office.
Did they really ban us from going inside the store? When we gave them the note, two of my friends were dressed as trolls and they weren't asked to leave. I haven't seen any sort of official notice from Psycho Donuts either.

Hotel and Facilities / Re: Fanime 2014 Hotel Review

Hotel Stayed: Fairmont
Nights Stayed: 3 (Friday-Sunday)
Amenities:
-Queen bed
-iron and ironing board
-huge closet
-plenty of storage space
-free wi-fi
-coffee machine
Helpfulness of Staff:
-Very helpful! Replaced our broken coffee machine and brought fresh towels within 30 minutes
-Housecleaning was very nice and careful not to move our stuff around
Roomshares?: Shared with two other friends and another joined us for Saturday night. There was plenty of room for everyone, but I wouldn't try to fit more than five people at a time.
Pros of Hotel:
-Close to panels
-spacious rooms
-close enough to the con but still mostly quiet
Cons of Hotel:
-Elevators are super trippy and slow on checkout. It took us half an hour to squeeze into one.
-It wouldn't let us checkout on the TV like you usually can. That may have been just because of Fanime though.
Would You Stay Again: Yes!
Recommendations/Suggestions/Misc:
-bring a microwave/minifridge
-request a room on the 4th floor for 24 hour access to the pool!

Hey guys! I was dressed as Anti-Spiral Nia from Gurren Lagann on Saturday and Monday. Bunches of pictures were taken and it would be nice to get to see them. :D
