I'm looking for this Asian-ish Roxas cosplay who didn't have a wig...he kind of did a half Naruto cosplay at the Naruto gathering. My friend and I were talking to him for a little bit by the fountain after the water tried to attack us. :P I was the Haku hanging out with a Neji.

Also, does anyone know who the petite asian superglomping girl with the autograph book was? I swear, she glomps like a bullet train.

My friend was the big white guy in a yukata and blondish ponytail for the last group. He was the the guy doing the press conference...hehe, "Are you prepared to take full responsibility for your actions?" "Oh, absolutely!"

I don't know if there will really be enough cosplayers to do this, but I would love to have an Azumanga Daioh gathering. :]

I wasn't exactly the only Haku from Naruto, but one of the other Hakus was only Haku for the time it took to do the Naruto gathering (she was FF X-2 Yuna for the rest of the time) and the other one was only Haku for sunday and was stuck behind her table in Artist Alley the whole time. I was the only one who was in Haku cosplay for the majority of the time.

I think my friend was the only Neji.

Heh, I'm the cosplayer in the middle of the 3rd to last picture with the blue jacket and brown pants with a white thing on my head. I'm standing next to the yellow backpack. Oh, and part of me is on the far left side of the last picture. :]

I really wish we had a larger webcomic presence at fanime. Seems like fanime isn't friendly towards webcomic artists (or so I heard) Snafu-Dave was an awesome guest and I think he ended up doing 4 panels in total. I'd love for fanime to bring over Bleedman as his art is awesome. Can we somehow get Megatokyo back here to fanime? PLEASE?!? Ian from machall is now in the bay, can we bring him as well?

Speaking of webcomics, I say we get Greg of Real Life Comics to come to Fanime. He lives in San Francisco now, after all.

I was wondering if anyone got a picture of me? I was the Haku with the konoha headband hanging out with an Aeris.

The gathering was much fun, yes. ^^ I'll probably be Haku again next year, though with the correct forehead protector. I felt so silly with a Konoha one instead of a mist...

Props to whoever brought the stereo!

D:< MAN FAYE DIDNT SHOW~ same with Great Teacher largo

OMG, yes. I'd been waiting all year for the GTL show! Does anyone know what happened to him?

Part of me is relieved that ManFaye didn't show up, but the other part of me is also kind of sad...

Let's see, bad things...

- The pre-registration desk had some problems with getting my friend's badge and she ended up having to get a paper badge instead

- I lost my badge in the E-gaming room, but luckily someone found it and I got it back

- The skin between my big toe and index toe got rubbed raw from walking around too much in wooden flipflops >.<; (not geta, mind you)

The schedules were much harder to read this year. It was just too small and there wasn't enough contrast with the shaded boxes and black text. Maybe it would be better if they were printed landscape as opposed to portrait?

Also, I think it would be better if a schedule was included in the bag with the convention program as opposed to being in a stack on the tables in the registration area. I know I can't be the only person who totally didn't notice them and walked straight into the convention after getting my badge.

Having Artist's Alley in a separate room was a little weird. It made the convention floor seem awfully empty and the artist's room was kind of stuffy. It was uncomfortable to be in there for too long.

I asked this question in the other pre-official weapons policy thread, and I really don't want to get in trouble so I guess I'll ask here too.

I'm planning on cosplaying as Haku from Naruto and I'll be using double-pointed knitting needles as props. They're pretty blunt though still pointy. I mean...if I really, really, really tried I could stab someone with them. (but then again, you could do that with pencils and such too) I'd only be using them for poses. Are they okay or should I just not bring them?

I was thinking of cosplaying Haku from Naruto and using double-pointed knitting needles as props...they're relatively blunt and I wouldn't be able to do much damage unless I really tried to stab them into someone...would those be okay?
