I saw so many Harry Potter characters, I had to.

I know this has probably been answered before, but I'd like an answer directed to me, just so I don't misunderstand what someone says in another thread.

So, I pre-registered for Fanime and my mother paid for it through PayPal, but it's under my name. I've been trying to get an ID so I can pick it up, but unfortunately I can't get one in time for Fanime. So, I was wondering since I'm fourteen, if perhaps my mother could pick up the badge with me there? Since she paid for it and all that? If not, is there any other way to get my pre-reg badge?

I decided to host a gathering and to make up an excuse for it, I made it Bay Area's cosplay day~ I think I'd be nice to meet up early in May, since FanimeCon isn't until the end of the month and all. I decided on Kelley Park in San Jose, CA mainly because of the Japanese gardens, I'd be a nice place for photoshoots. There will be picnic benches and places to BBQ, so I expect that there will be a lot of food and room to hang out. We'll play various games, larger ones will be decided on when the date's closer. If you'll be attending, let me know who you'll be if you're cosplaying.

DATE: May 7th, 2011
TIME: Noon until whenever everyone leaves
RULES: This is a public area, so please no revealing cosplay or insanely large props. Weapons, drug, and alcohol won't be tolerated.

Hello!

Sencha Productions has yet again decided to host the How to Make a Cosplay Group panel for 2012, so I decided to update in information thread, just to confirm that we will be sending in an application to host this panel again once the time comes around again.

If you don't know, this panel basically gives you tips on how to make a cosplay group. We'll tell you ways to start one, how to gain members, the pros and cons. We'll also share our past experiences within our cosplay group (though we will NOT be using names) in hopes that it'll give everyone an idea of what cosplay groups go through. We'll be mentioning key websites for groups, advertising methods, and much more!

Sorry, something came up with my cosplay group, so I will no longer be having this event. If a mod could delete this thread, too, that would be awesome since I can only lock it.

I remembered that last year, a bunch of people were playing the game Ninja by the fountain, and the people I were with talked about a Ninja tournament for 2011. So, I thought, let's suggest it. I was thinking a bunch of different groups, the winners playing one last game, then whoever comes out victorious wins a prize or something.
