Glomp=assault.

I'll be wearing some moderately detailed costumes this year, including an actual classical ballet tutu, so you can bet I'll be rather ticked off if some launches their sweaty, smelly carcass all over me. >:(

Why would a group get kicked out of a public park?
I wouldn't be surprised if they said group was noisy, rude, and disruptive. A quiet tea party shouldn't cause any trouble....

Quote"You can't have a double standard. If pro-white voices can't be heard, what about rap artists who say it's time to kill cops and drag them through the streets?"

I actually agree completely. America claims to be "The Land of the Free", when it's really "The Land of the Rich", catering to these wealthy rap artists who only sing about their whores and shooting policemen. I'm sick of it. Apparently, quite a few whites are too. They deserve to be heard.

I'll be there on Sunday as Sebastian. I much prefer to watch the parade rather than walk in it...

I still can't believe I snagged a room at the Marriott only a few days ago from the Fanimehousing registration. Someone must have canceled their room. O_O I'm so lucky.

I vote for anything that is not rap/hip-hop/R&B.

Not only can you not actually dance to that "music" (except smash and grind as if you're having sex on the dancefloor), but most of the songs contain abusive and disrespectful messages and lyrics towards different groups of people.

Honestly, I'm going to the dances in hope that more anime/pop music will be played, since so many dances play nothing but rap.

If rap consists of most of the evening's lineup, you can count on at least one less guest (my companions for the weekend also share this view with me).

I think that's the one. From the pictures I saw, it looked quite nice, but I wonder how crowded it will be...

I've never been to San Jose, but isn't there a park in the middle of the hotel round-about? (I saw this from Google Earth). A lovely picnic under the trees would be quaint, and provide enough light for some good pictures.

I'll be going to a Kuroshitsuji gathering at 3 pm on Saturday, which I guess will last for a bit, and I'm planning to see the Masquerade that evening as Sebastian instead of Tutu because of how my tutu sticks out when I sit (it will get crushed and be a nuisance).

How about Saturday morning? Like 12 noon or so?

Kuroshitsuji stuff, Ouran stuff, lolita stuff, Hellsing stuff....

I would love to see more figurines other than scantily clad pedo-bait schoolgirls. More magical girl figures, and cute boys! Also, more variety in figurines. Often times, I will buy it if it looks cool and beautiful, regardless if whether I know of the series or not.

Kuroshitsuji merchandise!

Costumes/cosplay and costume accessories.

AFFORDABLE lolita garments.

I have a question about hoop skirts.
I would like to wear my Victorian gown to the ball, but the circumference of the skirt is quite wide. Are there too many people at this event for hoops to be allowed?

Also, is the dancing actual waltzing and proper "dancing" or is it all that grinding-shag-me-on-the-dancefloor type of business? Will there be bouncers there to ensure any grinding parties don't get out of control?
