I was at the sailor moon panel and you are HYSTERICAL. I haven't laughed that hard in forever.

First off, I thought the ball was TONS of fun. It was honestly one of the highlights of the entire weekend, and I'm ever thankful I went.

Pros:
- Lessons. Very fun! I met a lot of new people, and the instructors were great.
- The ballroom was so beautiful. It just set such an amazing mood.
- Mixers. Also very fun.

Cons:
- It's been repeated over and over, but the floor. Just such a huge liability.
- The room got so cramped and small and hard to dance in by the end of the night. Someone mentioned that it's possible to get a bigger room but it costs an arm and a leg- maybe having a small admission price, like 4 dollars or something, could go towards renting a bigger room?

I personally didn't mind people not knowing the dance. If they didn't know it, I taught them; if I didn't know it, they taught me. It was simple and a great icebreaker. We ended up using the "sway somewhat awkwardly" technique they mentioned at the foxtrot class on sunday quite a bit. =P

but NO to the age limit. I'm fourteen and I've been looking forward to the ball all year. I would've been crushed if I couldn't go.

For me, it was definitely having a random raver give me a bracelet that said "beginnings" on it. I don't know why, it just made me really happy.

And the ball in general was amazing.

Just wondering if anyone I danced with at lessons or at the ball remembers me. I was the one in decora at the lessons and at the ball was wearing a black knee length dress and red lipstick. There were a lot of very cool people I met there and it'd take too long to list everybody. However, a special shout out to the Reborn that kissed my hand, because that was incredibly sweet, and to the guy in the blue suit because you stuck with me for two songs, even when I was singing along to one of them XD

Hoping for Tonarine Sai, a fanmade vocaloid. The day doesn't matter to me, I don't think any of the series I'm doing this year are going to have gatherings other than this, but I'm pushing for saturday. =)

General Anime Chat / Lovely Complex

I just started watching this yesterday and it's already become one of my favorite animes. ^^ I read in an anime blog that someone felt it's the only recent shoujo they felt they could really compare to Kodocha, and I agree. I mean, I love Ouran and Furuba, but there's just something so down to earth about this series. None of these characters are something you wouldn't expect to find in a normal high school, but they're just done so well and it's so hilarious. In my opinion, it's definitely one series that doesn't recieve enough hype. (Only one group subbing it, WHAT?)

Does anyone else watch it?
