Does anymore know if this year Fanime will put up hotels in November like they did last year or is there a chance it could be at some other time?

I am trying to look at hotels to see what is available, but it seems like I have to register first.  I don't want to register if there are no hotels left though.  Is there any way to see what kind of rooms are available and then register?

Does anyone know if there is a certain number of people allowed to stay in rooms or if there is a limit?  I have a room with 1 bed, a rollaway and a couch so could I have a maximum of 4 or 5 people stay in the room with me?  Also is the room rate per person or just one rate?  So if the room is $89 a night is that $89 a night total or $89 a night per person?

My friend is interested in getting into a comic career with his art and I have told him from what I saw at Fanime last year it would be wise for him to go.  Is there anything different about having an artist ally booth such as do you have to buy a special ticket or purchase a spot in artist ally after buying the con ticket?  Also are there any special rules?  I know I saw some artists leave their booth for gatherings and what not but does an artist have to stay in their booth for so much time?

Is there going to be another tournament for pokemon b/w at fanime 2012?

Did prices go up from last time?  Back in January I reserved my room at the fairmont and it was around $89 a night.  Just now I tried to reserve a room there again but the lowest price is $199 a night.  Does it have something to do with tickets not being on sale yet?

Does Fanime have a lot of One Piece merchandise to buy?  Both times I have been to sac anime they has't been much One Piece to buy.  Since fanime is a bigger convention I was wondering if they had more One Piece.  By merchandise I mean is there a vareity of figures, cds, dvds, t shirts, bags, plushies, manga, etc.

PC gaming is listed and I was just wondering how that works at the con.  Is it like a BYOC event or are the pc's there?

Hi, I've never been to Fanime before and I'm thinking about Cosplaying as Portgaz D. Ace.  Now unlike some other costumes of Ace where people have a skin colored shirt on I'm currently working out and getting in shape so I won't have to wear a shirt and can dress just like he does in the anime.  Would that be allowed in the con though?  I ask because I don't know if there is some rule that a costume has to have so much to it to be considered appropriate.  I know some female costumes can be revealing but with Ace it could be argued that I'm going around shirtless the whole time and a lot of times public places have the "no shirt no service" rule.
