I'm almost for certain that I'll be making Mugi's retro concert outfit from episode 6 (first school festival performance with the imagined scenes) if I can't find a good jacket to modify for the uniform one. But since Fanime is so far away, there are no guarantees to that. I could change my mind once again.
I'm wondering how much material/supplies will be to make a prop keytar... I want to hold at least a fake one for Fanime next year hehe.

Then I've seen some where she's Mugi's color.. And THEN.. There are the purple stockings and pink stockings.. So I've narrowed it down to that, since everyone should be a different color. :O

Her black stockings? Iunno.. It's just because everyone has different-colored stockings. So if Ritsu and Azusa have the same color, wouldn't that break the pattern? o_o;

The kimono/yukata's might be the easiest to make, cuz the maid/loli costumes are harder :P
It basically looks like a bathrobe (the fur/fluffy part makes it seem like it) and u just add a white skirt and petticoat or just a petticoat to fluff it out :D Cut out a rectangular yellow obi from fabric and sew it up pretty and its all good. If you need help with the kimono/yukata, u can try looking for yukata/kimono or even bathrobe patterns. Now, all u have to do is learn how to put on the obi.
Oh yeah btw, cut out fabric circles and just sew those on neatly. As for the obi's pattern, you could try ur hand at getting a red or pink fabric dye marker (look at a crafts or fabric store for em) and just draw it on yourself :D Don't forget to wash the obi after ur down by hand thoroughly so it doesn't get into your other clothes.
All the stuff, u can probably get at arts and crafts stores, fabric stores, etc.
Hi! Just wanted to introduce myself and mention my planned group. I plan to go as Yui, and have 4 friends who will be joining me as Mugi, Mio, Ritsu, and Azu-nyan. We will all be going as the apparently very popular Don't Say Lazy ending. ;D
I should be purchasing my costume and wig by next month (yes, purchase...I has no sewing skillz.) Hopefully planning several months in advance will avoid the wig fiasco I had last year. :(

Btw I just looked at it and x3 Mio looks cute with teh curls in a pony tail lol. I like the whole casual look alot too. Mugi's sailor theme is hecka cute, (Some SNSD right there :D), and ritsu's is cool too. Yui's would probably be my least favorite cuz I mean after waist down ...its just didn't work O_o...... the red boots remind me of those female lucha or whatever wrestlers wear... -shudder- Like the top half was nice but then bam, full shot was.... wtf.. @ Phantomhive.LolitaK: I know you aren't on often so I updated the first post to reflect the Gatherings List. Your 2nd gathering currently will not be listed on the official list. You might want to change the time to later in the day so that your 2nd gathering doesn't conflict with the schedule. You can still get together and do fun stuff even if the 2nd one doesn't get listed.

Hi! sorry I checked this so late cuz I've been busy with school works (also cuz I couldn't find the thread on Cosplay.com's forum for the longest time, then I realized its here).
I cosplayed Mio's "don't say lazy" version last year for Fanime, this year I'll be there as season two ending "Listen!" version (the one in which Mio's in the cake in her black dress). I just saw my last year's picture there on the first page, can't wait to see many of you guys there again this year!:D

Hi! Just checking in again. My group is doing okay cosplay-wise (although some of us are procrastinators) and we should have it all together for the gathering. The only thing I have left for my Yui is the shoes. Just a little more work to be done to them. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else comes up with!

I don't want to sound rude or anything. But is anyone going to bring anything to the picnic? I don't think its fair that a one or two people bring something and everyone comes empty handed. :/
I just wanted to let everyone know that I can not change the final list so this gathering will be listed around the convention at the time that was originally requested. Confirmations closed on the 19th and submissions on the 20th with the final list posting on the 23. Everything is off to print and I can not make changes to the info after that. So people who are not on the forums that cosplay this will see the original gathering time day and location.
