I'm a perfectionist, if I can buy a really good accurate one I will. If there's something that I think I could probably do better then I'll learn to do it myself.

The only suggestion I can think of is more food booths like the sushi and teriyaki booth! Didn't they run out by like Sunday or Saturday and not come back? I would've loved to have more options than nachos, pocky, or walking down the street for fast food.

A coco kitty plushie from Gaia
the kitty from Spirited away ($18 for that puny thing, I was ripped off)
a pretty red/black dress that doesn't fit
black lolita headdress
lots of japanese snax, like tomato pretz, koala snacks and pocky
pink gloomy bear
a blue shirt with a happy kitty and "i hate you" embroidered on it (from Artists alley)

I thought the bat guy was nice, although the tip of his wing kinda caught my skirt as I walked off, but it seemed like an accident.

Bad things? Hmm, I bought a dress that didn't fit and I don't know the name of the vendor so I can't buy a new one. I didn't buy much because I'm not familiar with most anime  :(  Lack of good food in the area. I went to a vendor in the artist alley and discovered they didn't accept cards or plastic. I walked aaaall the way to the atm by reg., discovered it was out of order, walked aaaaall the way to the one by starbucks, got my cash and walked aaaall the way back to the vendor. Luckily they were nice enough to hold the shirt for me *is wearing it now!* Oh, and I also missed out on every panel I wanted to see, the Masquerade and the rave! I also didn't take nearly enough pictures. I still have a disposable camera I have yet to get developed. Oh! and the few pics on my other camera that I took came out awful because it was dark  :(

Wow, I must be one of the few that doesn't want my helmet made of metal! Does anyone know anything about making helmets with paper mache? I need parts of it to be rounded but I also want it to be sturdy. Also any tips on making hidden eyeholes?

Yay! I hope you get to have your own booth as I will DEFINATELY be a supporter! There were quite a few things I really wanted to try!

Possibly returning:
Nana (Elfen Lied)

New ideas:
Scary helmet Lucy (Elfen Lied) No, I will not actually be naked.
Chibi Sakaki (Azumanga Daioh) Look out cat people
Chiyo chan (Azumanga) If I can scrounge up enough for a custom wig.

I've got a few ideas, I may do one or I may do all.

1. 1st episode Lucy (Elfen Lied) with the scary helmet, but I will be "censored"
2. Chiyo-chan (azumanga Daioh) quite a switch, eh?
3. Chibi Sakaki (azumanga) I'm veeery short
4. Nana again (elfen Lied)

ebay? I never thought to look there. Well, nobody probably has what I'm looking for anyways but I'll give it a shot!

I'm not sure if this is the right spot but here goes.

Anyone know of and good wig stylers besides Katie Bair? I really like her work but her quotes nearly gave me a heart attack! I'd need someone with experience making Odangos (those weird bun things) and custom coloring might be handy too!

Thanks!

I know it's not a new anime but I think it'd be really awesome to see other Azumanga characters around next year! I myself am considering either Chiyo-chan or a chibi Sakaki (I'm reeeeally short). Is anyone else considering it? It'd be cool if there were enough of us for a gathering of some sort!
#172
Oh, me too! I'm already trying to decide between Chiyo chan or a chibi Sakaki (I'm very short) from Azumanga Daioh, Lucy or Nana again from Elfen Lied or possibly if I get some sewing skills going Yuuko from xxxholic or Sakura from Tsubasa!

Dealers Room / looking for a dealer
June 30, 2006, 11:20:48 PM
I'm looking for the dealer with all the chinese dresses. They were in the back row, somewhere in the middle. I think it was 2 boothes squished together, like a clothing store and a comic store in one booth, but I'm not sure. Anyways, I'm not sure of the name and I wanted to find their site so I could buy a new dress, the one they sold me was too small  :x  They reeeeally could've used a fitting room, hopefully next year.
